I am not allowed to sit at work at all, so on occasion get very sore feet due to the safety shoes we have to wear. Can anyone think of something to help stop the feet from hurting or make them feel better at the end of a shift?

Warm salt water is meant to be good...solves anything my nan says!!

Do you have a choice in what shoes u can wear? or maybe changing your footwear mid shift.

Try those gel pad thingies and buy a foot spa! :thumbsup2

Also, I get quite hot and swollen feet and for relieving them I use Body Shop Lemongrass foot spray and foot rub, I love the smell of lemons and these are just divine

I used to stand all day, I really like rubbing in body shop peppermint foot lotion, even better get someone else to rub it in for you!:flower3: These are for your feet!

i have suffered from sore feet all my life :(

Tried every type of foot product on the market... pepermint foot lotion... sprays... potions, foot baths etc and the ONLY thing that helps me are my crocs...

Im sure its different for everyone.. but my crocs do it for me.. :)

Thanks I will try some of these, no we can't change shoes because we have to wear toe protectors.

Have you tried taking red vine leaf tablets? Some of my friends at work find it helpful they say it improves the circulation in your legs and feet might be worth trying some:hug:

Im a dance teacher Paula and I swear by salt water (although those red vine tabs sound like I might give them a whirl) but try Sally Hanson foot spa, its about £4.99 but well worth it, or Scholl fresh step cracklin ice foot gel (about the same price) this is so good I stock pile and take to florida with me, and after a couple of hours around the parks I sit on the side walk and spray my tootsies - Im sure yu will love it after a day at work - good luck - Gail

Thanks wil try this I know people have said look for a new job but I don't think I would find one that pays as well currently (without overtime) pick up £400 per week net.
