WOW!

I will admit to feeling a bit let down by the season premiere, but last night's MORE than made up for it. The scene with Adriana being "interviewed" ALONE was worth the price of admission!!!

I love the way things are shaping up!

BIG trouble on the horizon, no? Which shoe will drop first?

Last night really made me want to smack Meadow up side the head and say "Get over it and go back to school, you little spoiled brat !!!" LOL

Did y'all hear that AT&T Broadband lost its HBO feed just before 9pm in northern California? There were some ANGRY customers last night.

I'm trying to figure out what Silvio is up to. I get the sneaky suspicion that he wants to take over. I agree with you figmentvi, Meadow is being a brat, but I think she is having such a hard time with Jackie's death, because she thinks Tony had something to do with it.

Does anybody remember why Paulie is in jail? Did they show that last season or did it happen while we weren't watching?

The subplot with Paulie in jail was a last minute change after the filming of the last show because the actor who plays Paulie had to have cancer treatment during the hiatus. So he couldn't be in many of the scenes being filmed during the break. They rewrote the plot line to allow for Paulie's absence (hence he's in jail) and then filmed a couple of short scenes with him on the phone to fill in the gap.
On the show, Paulie was jailed on a 'gun possession' charge when he was picked up by police in the midwest doing some 'collection work.' There is some implication not directly stated that he may have been 'set up' but it's not clear by whom.

As far as Meadow goes,think about what it must be like to be 19
and aware of your family's "business". And,that maybe your father had something to do with your boyfriend's murder!!! I don't think I could concentrate on school either. I would probably want to run away too. The best thing Meadow could do for herself IS run away------FAST!!!! I love watching things fall apart for these people. They're scum. I only feel bad for the poor little
dog that Adriana owns. I loved the look on Adriana's face when she saw the undercover agent! That was great!!! That whole
part of the show was awesome. She knows its over. I can't wait to see what happens next!!

Good Show....and this is from someone who just GOT HBO! My DH and I spent 3 days just watching the 3rd season to catch up, and than we ordered HBO! Got hooked up on Friday. I feel this way......Tony and crew will be caught, and Tony will serve Prison time. This is why he is agreeing to See the "Financial Advisor!" Meadow KNOWS all about her Father! This is why she is acting the way she is.

It seems like things are coming to a head & this whole thing could end in mob war with NY (Johnny Sack's family) & Paulie & Silvio are probably going to be the catalysts. I think we all know that Ralphie is living on borrowed time.

I'm making a bold prediction: I think Chris is gonna get whacked. Tony's actions, along with the attitude that Chris has he's running out of friends fast, though I think his murder might be more of a power play as well.

I agree.....should be very interesting with Adriana on the Fed's side. That vomit scene came out of nowhere though and was gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it when Tony sat on Meadow's ice cream bowl!

I just saw the second episode tonight. I'd give it a B-.

I'm still disappointed with the writing this year. Poor pacing at times, too much emphasis upon Meadow and her angst. With such a great ensemble cast, they could do much more character and story development around friction/in-fighting within the mob. This show could be MUCH BETTER ...........

I think they are building a storyline around Meadow for a reason....time will tell.
