Hi guys, just wanted to share my news with other good disers, since my hubby shares NO EXCITEMENT whatsoever for this upcoming trip. I made my 1st PS today!!!!. for LeCelliear for lunch. Now can anyone recomend a good lunch item. I read about the yummy breadsticks and cheese soup, so those are a must--I hope the breadsticks are served at lunch. We were going to do dinner, but decided lunch would be cheaper. Anyway wanted to share--know its no biggie to lots of people, but watching your clock timer go down is exciting--this will be our FIRST TRIP!!> :) thanks for listening everybody. PS: Tomorrow i'm hoping to get our Ohanas PS made. :Pinkbounc

Ohhh and one more question. Is Beaches and Cream right on the Boardwalk?? forgive me if I'm way off, but thought we would get a glimps of boardwalk on way over to beaches and cream. Thanks again.

I'm so excited for you  !!! Sorry I can't offer any insight on Le Cellier but I'm planning on making that one of my PS when I go (53 days and counting). Have a great trip and don't worry your hubby is excited even if he doesn't show it. Believe me they are all big kids at heart!:teeth:

Congratulations on your first PS! You can always share your excitement here...we understand. I've been excited about our trip for months...my DD & DGD are finally starting to catch up!

I've never eaten at Le Cellier before, but you already know about the soup! B & C is connected to the Beach Club which isn't exactly the boardwalk but is in walking distance of it if you want to go check it out! Have Fun!

Hi! I am so excited for you too! I understand what you mean about having no one to share your excitement. My DH is starting to roll his eyes at me whenever I tell him about my PS's. He says I plan trips for WDW for ME, not the kids. I think maybe he's right! LOL!

Beaches & Cream is in BC. I understand you can actually take a boat from Boardwalk to YC & BC area.

Wishing you a magical first trip!:bounce:

I am gratefull for all the replies. I love talking Disney, but can't do it with anyone around here, they just look at me like I have 2 heads. Even my daughter rolls her eyes at me, but she has never been, so does not even have a clue what Disney is about--I did get her to look at the Pool pictures from Music. She thought that was cool. Thanks again guys--just wanted to share my excitement--Does anyone have any good lunch ideas for Lecelliar??? or What NOT to try there. I think the meals are part of the fun in planning the trip. :) Everyone have a magical day.

How exciting. You are going to have so much fun.

I have had lunch several times at Le Cellier. In fact, I don't think we have ever had dinner there. You definately get the bread at lunch. I think there was a prezel type, and two others. Very yummy. The soup is soooooooo awesome! A must try!

As far as a lunch entree, I always got the crab stuffed portebello mushroom. It was very rich, but tasty, and came with potatoes (Scalloped type I think). Unfortunately, I don't remember seeing it on the menu (according to Deb Wills site) anymore.

I do remember DH getting the Reuben before, and he really liked it. I also think I remember him getting a hamburger the first time we went. We have always enjoyed everything we got there.

This is our first time, since we started eating at LeCellier, that we will not be eating there.

Dh is wanting to try Restaurant Akershush, so we had to cut one out. I will be missing the Soup for sure!!

Hope this helps!

Melanie

Good for you! I have a dh who has told me (does this every trip) that he doesn't even want to go anymore because I'm ruining it with all my planning. After it's all said and done, though, he'll sing my praises, but it's hard not to talk about WDW. I can't do it. He's trying to be more tolerant, and I'm trying to pretend to be interested when he talks to me about his precious MN Twins. For the record, and off topic, I hope they take the WS. Then I could talk all the Disney I wanted. Last night he even acted interested in my Disney chat.

Thanks Melanie,

I am anxious to try this restuarant. I also read Ackerhouse was supose to be yummy too. Thanks again for reply. I saw the Rueben on deb's site, so will probably try that. You leave soon on your trip, so have fun. :)

You are funny--sounds like my house and also with the precious twins---and just for the record I also hope they take the WS--another big game tonight---YEAAA. We will be glued to tv. Just tell your hubby next time-whats not to love with the TWINS and DISNEY they are both AWESOME!!! (at least I am hoping disney is awesome--havent' been yet but read, read, read a lot about it. :)

I can totally relate. I just booked our first ressie for the luau....woo hoo. DBF is just not quite as excited about the whole planning process:rolleyes: . He loves Disney, but really doesn't get excited about it until we actually get on the plane. The whole planning process is almost as exciting to me as the trip itself....almost. Good luck in your planning. This will be our 4th trip together. I would definitely recommend heading down to the boardwalk one evening. I would also avoid overplanning except for the things you and your family feel are"musts" Have a great time and wish me luck talking him into a 2nd trip next yr !!!!

Woohoo! Good for you :)

Yup! To confirm, you'll definately get the bread sticks at lunch :) Last trip I ate there and had the Beef Tips...YUM! Very tasty indeed *drool*

I'm with you all the way Mogs. Congrats on your PS! I was so excited when I got mine, and it was no use telling my family either, so the first thing I did was post here too. The only thing that gets DH's interest at all is picking up some snack food to take along to the parks so we can save a few $$ that way!
Have a wonderful trip.
Terrise

I knew I could count on all you good disers to help share in my excitement. Who ever would have thought that making a resturant reservation could be so much fun. I am totally enjoying this pre-planning stuff, won't know what to do with my time once I get back. Thanks again everyone for all your help and share of excitement--wouldn't know what to do without all of you----Have a magical day. 112 days and counting for me----WHOOWHOO-.:bounce:
