SOOO Upset with Disney

Sounds like a nightmare, glad they've got a few more months training before I need to book mine at the end of September.

I booked through Disney UK and had to give my res numbers to the Wedding Team but they said they couldn't find my booking under those numbers so would just search using my name and then they gave me the US res numbers so I know i've got them for booking my ADRs.

:thanks: for all the well wishes and pixiedust: guys!!!!

It seems to have worked :yay: logged onto the Disney UK website this morning and my dining has been added :woohoo: now lets see how it goes when I have to call tomorrow to book CRT

Thanks Brigette!!!!

Just noticed you've been tagged,,,, i'm sooooo jealous :)

Yes that happended a few months back on the DLP board, kind of a tagging party it seemed.!!

Glad you got it all sorted though.
Guess who i am on the phone to holding. :sad2:

Disney really need to sort out how they also deal with Disney in the UK booking things - I think the assumption is we won't want to make ADR's or book other such experiences - but of course we will. There should be one booking reference that you have........and that's it!

Glad you got sorted & good luck with CRT tommorrow.
thankyou

Here here!!! I think that they should at least have a UK dedicated dining line for us to call, then we don't have to make international calls and be put on hold for 45 minutes, would make life a lot easier.

Hi All, just a quick update....

Tried to call for CRT at 12.35 today (had to wait for my lunch hour) and got the message it would be over 30 mins wait so I hung up and didn't call back again until my free period at 3pm :scared:

BUT.... I got CRT exactly when I wanted on 19th August and the dining plan is now showing up on my reservation :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Can't tell you what a relief it is to have got that one sorted out, it was the only one I definitely wanted to get as it is a bit of a tradition with us to do CRT on our last night there just before wishes,,, soo happy!!!

Hope everyone else manages to get what they want and don't have any problems :goodvibes:
Just one more left to book now tomorrow and I'm all set :)

Great news. What time did you get? we always go to CRT, our ds11 loves eating in the castle.

I got 8.30pm!!! We have done this time every trip, both DD7 and DD17 love it there (and me of course :lmao: ) we like to have dinner there, then we usually finish just as wishes is starting and CM's escort you to the front of the castle for a great view of the fireworks, its a beautiful memory to have on the last night there :cloud9:

Have you managed to book any adr's yet Sharon?

No, my date is 22 May, I'm going to get my us ref no first though. We usually book CRT for 7.0 on a emh night but your plan sounds good so we might try that. Last year there was a mix up with our photo's & it delayed us getting back into the park but i imagine it's quieter later. Both times we have been put at the back wall side, even last year when it was ds birthday so hoping for a better seat this time. That one just by the window would do nicely!

Brilliant news Traci :thumbsup2

Thats great news, must remember to try for CRT this year. Its 90 days same as the others yes?

I actually asked them for my 12 digit Disney ref when i phoned to pay some money the other week ( I had read on the Dibb about people having problems) and they gave it to me there and then, so i haven't had the same problems as others have had with Dining reservations. Thank god!

Do you happen to know which department gave you the US number? I'm on the phone with the UK office now (still an American CM, but you know what I mean) and the CM says he doesn't have the 12-digit number. He's contacting guest services on my request, but it's been 13 minutes already since he put me on hold...

I called Disney today to make my ADR's. Called US number using the 1 p per minute link which was just aswell. Was on hold for 30 minutes then finally got through to a person, only for them to direct me straight to the surey that you usually get at the end of the call. No way to get back to operator! Called back, only on hold for 15 minutes this time! Got through to a very nice CM. She couldn't find my UK reservation at first but evenutally did after 10 minutes but still had to take all my details. MAde 7 reservations and then her system crashed. You get you ADR numbers at the end now so she hadn't given me any of them. HAd to pass me to someone else and then we had to start from scratch, literally. Her system crashed also so she transferred to a different screen and we started again. Nearly gave up at this point but one of my adrs was at Chef Mickeys on my Sons birthday so wanted to make sure I got it. Eventually got them all at the times I wanted. Have 17 nights at SSR so could only book the first 10 which means another call back! Hoping for better luck next time. Total call time 90 minutes for 10 reservations. There has to be an easier way.

I booked a flight inclusive holiday with UK Disney so when i ring the UK number i always have to ask to be put through to Openride (the company Disney use)
It was Openride that gave me my 12 digit number. I think others have been put through to guest services and got it from them.

When I rang last Friday CM told me they were only allowed to do 6 meals then confirm and give reservation numbers. Then start again with next ones. Sounds like they need to stick to this for now.

I did all 10 of mine last Thursday and got the reservation numbers at the end.
