sony cybershot

does any one know any cool settings to use for fireworks or other neat nighttime shots using a sony cybershot? I got one for my birthday but i dont know muh about photography. I'm also posting this on the photography board, but i thought i would ask here too! Im hoping for some good information, and i know i can count on the people at the disboards!

There are a few Sony Cybershots out there- I have the DSC-H5 and love it. I took it on my recent Disney trip with me actually. What model do you have?

For fireworks I use the landscape mode with the flash off. And the best way to do this is to use a tripod.

For nighttime shots I use the twilight mode and it works really well.

You'll probably get better answers on the photography board- there are a lot of great people over there.

i have the DSC-W100... if that's even amodle #! I'm so camera stupid sometimes. The pictures i take turn out decent... but im technologically challenged sometimes!
