Anyone have or have any experience with this camera?

TIA

Sherry

(I just bought it and will be in the world in 6 weeks. Want to play/practice before I go. Looking for helpful hints...)

I recommended it to a friend of mine who brought it to WDW in December.

Him and his wife loved it and his pictures all looked great. I don't have any tips for you, but I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this camera.

I have the sony DSC T-9 and love it. It did break but sony sent me a new one the next day (long story but great customer support)

I don't own one but try practicing taking pictures at night without the flash. So much of the beauty of Disney is the lights at night and inside the rides. Also if you are going to take pictures of fireworks you will need a tripod. It can be one of the little table top ones you can put on a trashcan if you don't want to drag a full size one aroud. There is a great article on firework pictures here: http://www.imaging-resource.com/NEWS/994267307.html and this site, http://www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/enjoydslr/index.html while geared toward DSLRs, really explains how to use the features of all the more complex cameras

all for the help. I will check out the links and play and maybe get more direct questions.

Hi Sherry! I also have this camera, so far I like it allot, but still don't really
know what I am doing with it..
But.... Here is a Sony forum link, go there, you can ask all kinds of questions, check out pictures people have taken with the H-1, also there is a guy on there I believe it is AAK, or something like that, he wrote a white paper thing up it is all about the H-1 and it explains how to use it.. Pretty good info..
Here it is:

I hope this helps..
