We will be staying at WL for son's 6th birthday, any suggestions for what to do or where to eat for his birthday?

I am taking my DS to WCC at WL for his 5th birthday. I am hoping they whoop it up good for him Hokie Pokie, Horse races and any other commotion they care to cause

There are many options. CP at MK has Pooh and Friends, CM at CR has Chef Mickey, and H&V has Little Einstens and JoJo, CMF at Y&BC, and DB at AK. Here's a link if you need more help:

I would think CM would be great for your son's 6th bday-it is so fun there. Whatever restaurant you choose tell the CM when you make your ADR that its your son's 6th bday - they'll note in the computer and usually they give a free cupcake (remind them at the podium). If you want something more or guaranteed we ordered DD5 a b-day cake for dessert after our meal at CRT. WL has inroom dining so you could also order one for your room if you want a quieter celebration. Let WL know & request a card signed from his favorite character and a few balloons delivered to your room. We did this for DD5 at the Poly - the day before her bday I went to concierge and asked if they did anything for bdays. They said they could send a pic of her favorite character & a couple balloons to our room. And they did - very nice! I have read posts where guests have mentioned this & it has not happened (for whatever reason - it gets busy so someone forgets) so if you want something guaranteed there are florists around that would send balloons for a price of course. I think most of CMs go out of there way to do it. YOu could also remind them the day of.

Also make sure you get a bday pin for him at whichever park you're in (if MK - city hall has them). He'll get a lot of attention from CMs & perhaps characters as well.

I think Chef Mickeys would be great for his birthaday. Just returned from Disney in September for my son's 4th birhtday. Be sure to let them know and get a birthday button. He recieved a special place mat, a cup cake and special attention when they sang the "celebration song". Upon checking into your hotel let them know about his birthday. Upon returning to the room from a day at the parks we were greeted by balloons and a special birthday card from Mickey. Whatever you do jusst get the button and he will receive lots of birthday attention.
