Now the future misses and I are thinking of moving our wedding dinner from Citricos to either the Napa or Sonoma Rooms at the Cali Grill. It's not that much more to have our dinner at CG than Citricos, but since we're looking at hosting 30 other people, we'd be kinda forced to booking one of those rooms (at Citricos we'd just have the whole back area by the big windows).
Has anyone dined in either of these. From my readings, Sonoma doesn't have a view of the castle, so we'd need to go to the observation deck for Wishes (which we prefer anyway). And since Sonoma has a lower food and bev minimum, we'd probably try to get that room.
However, all of the menus for "private dining" at the CG do not include the two best things on the menu: the oak grilled filet and the hallibut in banana leaf. if we weren't allowed to have these, it would be a deal breaker. plus at CG, i can have good beer like Anchor Steam, while at Citricos, . . . well like UncleMercolus (sp?) once said, the french are not known for their beer.
so has anyone been at either the Sonoma or Napa rooms, and if so, how'd you like it?
any pics would be greatly appreciated.
thanks a bunch!
