I need new music for running. Please give me your favorite songs to run to--I like all kinds of music!

Well my current fave songs right now are:

"Ride to California" by Paper Tounges (rap meets metal in a way -- this si my ringtone)

and

"FU" by Cee Lo Green (Motown meets angst but witha good beat -- I really want this as my ringtone)

I always like to throw in some old school stuff! All of my playlists have Eye Of the Tiger somewhere, and EVERY time I hear it I crack up. lol.

That's my Power Song on Nike+. When I'm struggling, sluggish, etc I hit that button and there's my song. That and "the Climb" by Miley Cyrus at the end of a difficult run.

Here are some of my favs.

Lose Yourself
Eye of the Tiger
Cowboy
Helter Skelter
Hungry Like the Wolfe
Jet
Live and Let Die
Old Time Rock and Roll
Elevation - a good power song
Proud (the themesong from BL)
Right Round
Stronger
Centerfold
Dance Tonight
Come Together
Fishing in the Dark

if you have iTunes, go the the PodRunner podcasts ... you can download a whole boatload of mixes, and they usually last about an hour. They vary in speed too, so you can choose different podcasts for whatever pace you'd like to run to.

I run to an ipod full of Disney songs. They keep me on pace AND make me smile at the same time.

I wanna be like you
Bare necessities
Humphrey Hop
Tiki Room
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo
Everybody Wants To Be A Cat
Hakuna Matata
MIckey Mouse March

etc. etc. etc.
