(I just have to say I heard this in a little folk club in New Zealand and never forgot it. It struck me because I was seeing people my age just starting to get jobs after spending years in university. I had gone right into the work force from school because we didn't have money and I didn't have brains. Suddenly, all these 'kids' who had brains and parents had money were showing up, working at the same job I was because they had to pay their loans off before they all started their own businesses (they all had business degrees). So they had lived the fine life and (from what they sounded like) the wild college life - but years later, here we were doing the same job.
