is there a certain song/album that brings you back to a certain memory or experience you've had? i find it interesting how a certain song can bring you back and make you feel exactly how you did at a certain moment in life

here are mine:

-ocean avenue (the album)- yellowcard- brings me back to my family vacation last summer to grand cayman.. i listened to this album nonstop for about a week, so now every time i listen to it i feel like i'm there
-part of your world- the little mermaid- brings me back to my early childhood when i used to rollerblade around my backyard and choreograph "ice skating" dances to different songs.. part of your world was one of my faves lol .. i was such a weirdo lol ...

"Aarons Party" by Aaron Carter makes me think of when every girl in the world was obsessed with Aaron and pop....hehe

i have a few...

"For Good" from the broadway show Wicked- it makes me cry every time, no matter what. It was me and my friends' song from the show I did last summer. The lyrics are just perfect, and we all hugged and cried while singing it after the last night curtain call.

"September" by Earth Wind and Fire- last year's field show for guard. 'la di da, don't forget to squat, la di da do the rifle part, la di da toss... ba ba ba!' hehe

"Who's got the Pain" from Damn Yankees- this past musical from school... 'who's got the pain when they do the mambo who's got the pain when they go ERHHH' lol

"Under the sea"- AP THEATRE ARTS! hehe. he's always grumpy, she's always hungry, under the bridge! hehe

"Holding Out for a Hero" - shrek 2- GUARDIES I <333 you!! hehe

Way Away by Yellowcard, brings me back to the summer of 2004 when I was traveling to Florida. I listened to it all the way down, and even saw Yellowcard at Hard Rock Live. That is what I think of eveytime I hear that.

Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day-Reminds me when I saw Green Day in February. Especially the line 'Nobodys perfect and I stand accused' in Dearly Beloved.

Wishes album-Just reminds me of being at Disney.

-"U Got It Bad" -Usher (When I slow danced with my first bf for the first time)
-"Wake Me Up When September Ends" -Green Day (One of my favorite bfs introduced me to Green Day, and this song just has very special internal meaning for me)
-"A Whole New World" -Aladdin! (This is "our" song. My bf and I!)
-The Wishes CD - (Just being in Disney World!)
-Any song played on Radio Disney in summer '00 (I was an insomniac that entire summer, and now any of those songs makes me slightly depressed, bringing back that feeling.)

Butterfly- by Smile.dk. that was our show music for this year. everytime we hear it together, someone starts crying...

When Somebody Loved Me- from Toy Story2, it was the first song I heard when my ex-best friend refused to talk to me ever again.

I'm Not Okay (I Promise)- by My Chemical Romance, it was our "theme song" all the way down to Miami for Otakucon. we'd scream it out the windows and dance at it at rest stops.

Baby Mine- from Dumbo, it reminds me of my two friends, nichole and rena.

Genki Merry-Go-Round- by Psycho le Cemu, i got to see them in february this year at Megacon, and that is my favorite song by them. i can still remember jumping up and down in heels almost breaking my neck in the process when they played it....

Second Star To The Right- from Peter Pan, it just makes me cry and miss Disney

HIM Razorblade Romance Album, I played it all last summer in California, so I think about the lake we stayed at when I hear it.

whenever i hear thunderstruck by ac/dc i think of all our basketball games this year.... we wanted to make a tradition of it at my school, so at our home games, we'd play thunderstruck....and i think of when they say thunder for the first time, our team runs out in shortest to tallest order, and we look so wicked in our school b ball uniforms! it was so cool! whenever they hear thunderstruck for the team at my new school, all the other schools i played will know that there's someone from my school on that team now!
