Song airlines & audio

anyone who has flown Song: From what I understand, they have TV screens at each seat. Do they supply headphones? rent/sell them? or should I bring my own. What type fits the plugs (different airlines use different systems with different plugs).

They supply them, no charge. If I remember correctly it was the little earplug type thing, but it worked just fine.

Yes, CamColt is correct. They hand out the earplugs as you get on the plane or they are already on your seat when you get to it. They are the type that kinda hang in your ear, not a round padding that you put over your ear. They are free. I absolutely loved the tv screen because they have a game "music trivia" that you can play which competes against other people on the plane. It's fun and passes the time. I also enjoy the feature which shows where you are, how fast you are going, altitude, etc. Great addition to the flight in my opinion.

Hi just flew song friday night. They do suppy earplugs, cheaper ones that you have to wedge in your ears, so bring your own comforatble ones, will have a more enjoyable flight, especially for kids as these are tough to stay in there ears........

I agree with upinthecold about bringing your own ear phones. The ones they gave me hurt after a while. I am flying in November with some children and I will be buying them regulare ear phones ahead of time for them to use. I have flown Song a few times and have loved them! Enjoy!

Song is a fairly new airline. Its been around, maybe a year now. Its a part of Delta or run by Delta, not sure of the exact way to word that, but it has something to do with Delta. They are supposed to be a cheaper airline, but Ive recently been comparing flights with them and Jetblue and Im finding, they arent really cheap(comprable flights on JB for $60.00 less).
But I will say we had a very good experience with them when we flew, so I cant complain.

If my DSs bring their walkmans and headphones, will THOSE headphones fit into the jacks for the screens on the plane so they won't have to use the ones that Song gives them?? They have very comfortable headphones that they use with their walkmans. Thanks!
