Uhh Great -- I guess. Where are you flying TO?

Boston.... the last is usually 7pm ... its weird to see one so late!

Don't get too excited yet. Song has changed these flights several times in the last few months. My February trip has changed at least 4 times. I have a feeling if they can't fill the 7pm and the 8:55pm they will combine these 2 flights. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm watching this one...I've had 8:20 (or so) pm flights home to Logan from MCO booked with Song before, only to have them change them to an hour or more earlier. My other issue with flying home on the latest flight is what if there is a problem. I could get stuck if they can't get me on another plane. It's getting so I don't like to try to fly home much later than 6ish. And during the summer, I think I would start staying an extra night and taking a late morning flight home. We keep getting our flights delayed due to weather on either end when we fly mid to late afternoon.

I have always tried to get the last flight going home so I could get the most time in the parks.

Severl years ago when Song was called Delta Express, I remember evening MCO-BOS flights at both 7 and 8 PM (approx.) On some occasions one of the flights was "mysteriously" cancelled, I suspect there weren't enough people for both and the two were combined.

The 8:55 PM flight could be touchy for me, it would land at midnight and the subway that I often use to get home quits for the night only a little later.

Question for Bostonians
Who is the Fat B*stard?

1. Massachusetts Turnpike's Matt Amorello?
2. Senator Ted Kennedy?
3. Fox TV 25's V.B. "Victor Bravo"?
4. WRKO Radio's Howie Carr?

I am not changing my flight to the last one... 7pm is fine for me... but who knows, just glad its a Friday fight, I can take delays...

answer:
4. WRKO Radio's Howie Carr?

Hi,
I actually signed on tonight specifically regarding my Nov. Song flights.
I am getting so frustrated.
They have changed them 3 times, each way!!! I don't mind so much on the return flight, but on the departing flight I do. With the first change it put us in MCO very late at night & we're traveling with a 2 yo.
Then they were kind enough to change that to an earlier flight, but now that meant taking the kids out of school 1- 1 1/2 hrs early. Now I look at it and that flight is changed to even earlier. I hate for the kids to miss another hour. Also now it says that our seats are "not assigned" even though on the original they were & on the rebook I made sure they were. There are 6 of us traveling. A 2yo, myself, DH, and 3 14yos. YIKES! I am very tempted to not fly Song anymore.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

If they add a flight time that they didn't have before, can you change your existing reservation so you can take a better time without penalty?

Normally only if your orignal flight was changed significantly (cumulative two or more hours for most airlines) or unless changed earlier but later is better for you (or vice versa) or unless your original flight was once at that time. Sometimes they will let you change your return flight because a change in your outgoing flight put a crimp in your plans.

Sorry, my question was unclear. I meant to ask if Song adds a new flight, such the one in the OP, and you WANT that flight because you like this new time better than the one you originally booked, will they let you change? I would have selected this new time when I booked if it were even on the schedule then. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks!!

Hi, I am not sure if they will charge for that change.

I see they have 3 flights now leaving MCO ... 5pm, 655pm and 855 pm. I know they will not use all three they are too close together. Hmmm they usually only have one PM flight. Weird !!!

my song flight down from bdl was changed, getting me in 2 hours later. i called and they put me on a flight the day before (now going the day before thanksgiving). no charge.

Actually, your question was perfectly clear - but for the most part, the answer is not for free. You can certainly change to a different flight just because you like the time better, but you have to pay the change fee PLUS any applicable fare difference.

Oh man...why did you have to mention that? I just changed my flight from 2:00 to the 5:00. Never gave it a thought. Sheesh...now I'm going to have to be checking that flight several times a day to make sure they don't combine it with a later flight. Dh doesn't mind coming to Logan at 7:45 but I don't think he's going to be to happy if I tell him I'm coming in around 9:30!!!!

Hey your DH can deal! LOL Mine will be picking us up too at 10PM ... and he HATES to have to drive into Logan! He is already whining! But when he comes, he has coffee and snacks for us LOL... DH can get over it. After we are away so long, they miss us :rotfl:

hey our tickers are the same day LOL ... maybe we'll see two red faces guys in the airport at the same time :rotfl2:

yes you can, molly. i not only changed my flight with no fee. they actually changed me to the day before thanksgiving, which we all know is the most heavily traveled day of the year. and the song attendent was very gracious.
