My son is allergic to eggs. I put it down on our ADR's but I am still concerned. What about QS restaurants?

Specifically, we'd like to take our son to Pizza Planet and a few other restaurants. I don't even want to take him there if it is not possible. How do I find this information out? I've seen people mention Brenda Bennett. How do I get ahold of her?

I'm very nervous. HELP!

Brenda Bennett is a person at WDW who handles information about special diets. You can find her email address (plus other contact information) in post #3 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. There is a link to that thread in my signature. In post #3, you will also find some links to past threads about touring WDW with food allergies.

My son is also egg allergic, as well as milk. First of all, don't worry! My son's allergy is very severe, and Disney is very good about this one!

The counter service places all have ingredient books. Tell them when you place your order. The only hard ones are some countries in Epcot that we would usually avoid (obviously we don't do stuff like pastries, but I've heard that some places have Divvies). The table service places will bring the chef to your table. They will discuss your allergies, then see what you want them to make. They have bent over backwards for us in this regard! My son eats so well at trips to Disney. It's good to know stuff like the french fries at the stands (McDonald's brand) do not share the oil with chicken mcnuggets. So they are safe. They are good about avoiding contamination, and my son has never had a reaction to foods at Disney!
