Son in law's court case about dogs postponed

The other guy said his "witness" couldn't come today. The judge wouldn't even listen to my son in law or DD try to tell them they didn't live there. They were told nothing would be discussed until the next date. They now go to court Nov. 7th. By then they and said dogs will have lived thirty miles away for over a year. My DD was about in tears. She said she moved to get away from these people and it seems it just follows her around. Thanks for listening to me gripe!!!

I would be tempted to write a letter to the judge explaining the situation and letting him know that your DD and SIL were not permitted the time to have the matter rectified while in court. If I were them, I would say that the ex-neighbor's lawsuit is a frivolous one without merit, costing not only them, but taxpayer's undue expense!

I'm so sorry. When I read your original post it made me mad, so I can't imagine how much stress it must be on them. I hope it does get resolved as quickly as possible.
