HI everyone! Here's my question. I am booking a trip for Sept. 2008 this Friday.:cool1: We ( me, DH, DD and her hubby, 3 kids- 10,7 and 2) will be booking two rooms @ POFQ. My DS who is single will possibly join us. He is pretty sure his company has rooms available at Swan or Dolphin somehow and that he can saty there for free or at a nominal charge. ? Does that sound possible? If he DOES stay there...how would be the best way for him to connect up with us each day? Is there a central area we could meet at, or should we just meet near entrance of whatever park we are going to that day? :scared1: ( I foresee nightmares finding each other that way! Even with cell phones.) Has anyone else experienced a family member staying in one place and some in another place? Help!

call him in the a.m.; tell him what time you're leaving to get to the parks, and plan to meet at a restaurant for breakfast, or for coffee once inside the park.

Really not that hard. When DS was younger we often let him go off by himself with a set place/time to meet up - and this was before everybody carried a cellphone. Meeting up always came off without a hitch. Set a time, set a place. We were able to do it when DS was only 15, so I suspect your adult son can handle it.

At Epcot we would meet right by the big ball, at MGM we would meet at the house with all the vintage stuff (I forget the name), you get the idea.

First I would have DS see how many rooms he can get through his company. If his company will allow him to take family and get 2 or 3 rooms, I would have everyone stay at the S/D!!!! We have stayed at the Swan, and we LOVED it there! If he cannot get rooms for all of you, I would still keep an eye out for a good rate there... they have specials all the time. We lucked out and got a Labor Day Weekend rate of $99.00/night, in 2003.
If you do end up n different resorts, just use cell phones to meet up... we split up all the time and have no problems finding each other!!!:)
