We tried this for the first time this weekend, and it was so good we had to go back! Both DH & I had the Brat w/sauerkraut, served with a wonderful large roll, and I added the Black Forest cake for dessert, DH had the apple strudel, and Beck's beer. Yummy, and so cheap - way better than average fast food, plus the view of the courtyard "German-style" square with the fountain was very pleasant. Saw lots of people ordering the smoked ham sandwich on pretzel bread that also looked delicious or the huge plate sized soft pretzels. We could hear the people at the Biergarten buffet next door singing and having a wonderful time - have to try that sometime too! Then walked across to the sweet shop and bought some fudge for later in the evening - yummy (the special was "buy four pieces, get 2 free", but only bought one, worried about the heat lol!) Also this place was full of gummy treats of every description if you have kids that love gummies, this is the place to pick up some packages!

I agree that Sommerfest is a great place for a quick meal. We love the smoked ham sandwhich on pretzel bread!

Also love the pretzel bread ham sandwich. Thanks to a tip on this board we tried it & now it's a "must do" for us. The pretzels they sell there are big & tasty, too!

This is a MUST stop on my Epcot touring plans. I love the brat and sauerkraut, and of course, the Beck's. The family shops and Dana eats. It really doesn't get any better than this. :)

One of our "must do" things when we're in Epcot!

We discovered Sommerfest by accident in March and LOVED everything! DD and I split the ham sandwich on pretzel bread, DH had the bratwurst and we all shared the HUGE pretzel. YUMMY!

Next time we head to Epcot this will be a must do on our list! :) No waiting, inexpensive and GOOD!

You've stumbled across one of my favorite meals at WDW. Every trip I look forward to bratworst and a becks at a table or in the courtyard. I've had some very expensive meals at WDW that don't even come close to this simple treat. You can't beat the atmosphere with a stick either.
