I feel sorry for the "goth" people. Their "look" is not condusive to summer touring. Black leather or worse vinyl is NOT breathable and neither is no-run white face paint. In addition the platform boots that many of them wear have got to hurt after a long day at the parks.

Don't you think most teenagers realize that Mickey Mouse is a character? He is a mouse. If standing next to Marilyn Manson is setting a bad example to kids then think about how many of us have tried to exterminate Mickey Mouse in our houses. That's not setting a good example either.

Manson is in show biz. He is a singer/musician/actor. His persona is an act. I have seen him without the makeup and he is very very normal. He is also very smart. You can't let him bother you anymore than you can let the Disney evil characters get to you. He is a character. People take stuff way too seriously. I used to hear the same junk about Ozzy. But even Ozzy has said, "I'm putting on a show ya know. Like a haunted house with music" And just the fact that Manson posed with Mickey shows that he doesn't even take his character too seriously.

Sorry, when I see his "character" on a kids poster showing him totally nude with an up side down Bible covering his genitals... well... I'd say there's something wrong with "the show". But hey, we have Freedom of Speech right?

If we are going to start judging who is worthy to stand next to Mickey let's take a good look at our latest Disney hero, Johnny Depp. If you analyze things he has done in the past, you probably wouldn't want your children to idolize good ol' Captain Sparrow. Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear) spent time in prision on drug charges. If Marilyn Manson was invited to the screening of POC II, why should he not attend?

In addition to the previous hinderences to summer touring that "goths" may face. Some people find it neccessary to wear dark sunglasses indoors, that cannot be safe. Do you know how dark the POC queue is? It's bad enough you have to walk down many ramps in the platform boots, but add to that not being able to see! Rough stuff! Sympathy abounds for these people.

Again, I'm so thankful that resort casual is so comfortable and easy!

I'm not a fan, nor do I hate Marilyn Manson. My older brother listens to his music. I have learned some things about Manson, thought, that I thought I could share.
Manson's record deal is through Disney. Hard to beleive? Yes! But very true!! The labels on his CD's arent the Disney label, but it is a record company owned by Disney.
I saw him at an Ozzfest, and he came out on stage wearing the Mickey ears that I'm sure we all have at least one pair of! I also read an interview on him before, asking about how he feels about his record deal being associated with Disney. He responded that he is a big fan of all things Disney, and appreciates Walt Disney's creativity and drive towards what he wanted to accomplish.

Like said before, anyone can be a Disney fan!!!
