Janette, I read that piece when Garrett was first born. I have always believed God gave me a disabled child for a reason. Some days it's pretty easy to lose sight of that fact, though.
(I don't think myself anymore special than any other mom, though)
Val, I don't think it's the baby on the way. I think he just doesn't like changes for one, and I think he sees an opportunity to test his boundaries when a sub is on the bus. Plus, I think it is just so frustrating for him not to always be able to make his needs/wants known.
Thanks everyone, for your words of encouragement. Hopefully, today, I will feel a little more "up". (Destiny was/is sick with laryngitis and a croupy cough yesterday, so I had to reschedule Garrett's annual IEP meeting at school, so I think everything just kind of gathered together to hit me at once)
