Something to help save my back!

I need some help...maybe someone can remember for me. I saw a product awhile back to helped "save your back" while you are holding a baby/toddler. It kind of looked like a fanny pack. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd appreciate any suggestions. I don't think my 13 month old DD is going to last the whole time in her stroller and she is getting very heavy.

I think the Right Start stores also carry this. We had one for DD when she out grew the baby Bojorn. It was very comfortable for both her and I and left my hands free. Excellent for getting through an airport or on/off resort buses.

This looks good! Did it hurt your back at all? The problem I'm having is that DD (13months) does not walk yet and will not be happy in her stroller all day. She will want to be carried but she gets heavy very fast! Thanks for the link...I think I'll order this. Hopefully it gets here in time!

It is better than carrying the baby in your arms, but DD1 is 21 lbs, so it was no miracle worker. I used it in WDW for the lines for only 1 day, then realized it was a hassle to take it on and off constantly. I would only use it if you are going during a busy time. I also brought a Theodore Bean toddler carrier, which held her sturdier, but also pulled on my neck and shoulder areas. I would buy one and try it a few times at home first, to see if you like it, before packing it.

We just got back from WDW a few weeks ago. Someone recommended I purchase a maya wrap for the trip. It was a life saver. My DD was 5 months at the time, but there are many ways to wear the wrap including a toddler on your hip. This was great for my back and my DD loved it!! It is very lightweight and portable, I plan on using mine for MANY more months!! Have a great trip!

I'm going to 2nd the maya wrap sling! My son is almost 3 mos old and weighs over 15 lbs. When he wants me to walk him around the house, I sling him and what a back saver! I have a Snugli but it killed my back.
The maya wrap sling takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it it's wonderful!
