Hi everyone,

my husband and I are heading down in May to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. My husband is planning something special for me and I was hoping to do the same for me. I am looking probably something in the $100-$200 range and not any kind of special dinners as we have that covered or spa treatments as that's not really his thing. Any ideas?

I would highly recommend the Segway tour in Epcot.

DH and I did it on our honeymoon/first anniversary trip and we loved it, it was the highlight of our trip.

Congrats and I hope you guys have a great time!

You could look into a Wishes cruise. I hear those are great and very romantic.

Any of the tours are a great idea...even Behind the Seeds in Epcot is a wonderful behind the scenes experience for anyone who loves Disney. It is cheap and great fun.

Is he a golfer? For 10 years plus, we pick one morning that we don't do a park and he picks one of WDWs excellent golf courses, he golfs, I just ride in the cart, watch, and enjoy the scenery, alligators, a racoon that took our lunch once ( very funny) then we do lunch and pick a park for the evening hours...he always appreciates it as his special thing as everything else on the trip is for the rest of us....;) ;)

My hubby still talks about the Richard Petty driving experience that he did at WDW years ago. I think it's a little more than you want to spend, but WELL WORTH IT.

Golfing is another good option, as are the various tours.

One year, I placed an order from the disney florist that had a large tin bucket containing beer and chips. He loved that!

My DH is not a Nascar fan, but did the ride along and loved it. He also still talks about his experience. The Ride along is only like $120 or so. DH says it was well worth the money spent. It goes by quick and I think only 3 laps, but he got to get into an actual race car. We bought the photo and the plaque/ photo frame that goes with it for like $40. DH also says he is glad he did the ride along first so he knows what to expect for the Driving Experience (He assumes he will be doing this every trip:rotfl: ). We both are golfers so golfing is also another option. Although with my DH he would be happy if I would just get on TOT in DHS :scared1:

Those are all great ideas, thanks everyone!:goodvibes

I would second the Segway tour idea. DH and I did a Segway tour in Portland and I haven't seen a smile that big in ages! He just LOVED it!!! When everyone else took a break to rest their feet and legs, he would zip around us in circles. He just didn't want to get off. We will definitely do the Epcot tour one day soon.

Another idea is to plan a relaxing afternoon at your hotel. Have some of his favorite treats delivered to the room and give him a back rub.

I completely agree. This was so much fun. We did this last year and had a great time. I surprised my husband with it and he loved it. I did too. We are all booked for this year too. While you are going on around, the tour guide tells you interesting things about all the countries.

Have fun.
