Our two girls are doing BBB make-overs and I am looking for special experience for our 10 yr. old son. I have looked a little myself for anything that might interest him but haven't found anything.
Can anyone suggest anything for him to have as a little treat. He loves star wars, legos, drawing and sports.
Looking forward to hearing some great ideas!
Thank you so much!

We went to WDW in June and our daugher (9) went to BBB. I wanted something special for our son (10) as well.....but there really isn't anything for boys that age. Since he loves Legos we allowed him to spend the same amount of $$$ in the Lego store at Downtown Disney as his sister spent on her makeover.

He loved it!!!!!!!!!

My son would be happy in the arcade - all day if I would let him!! Maybe you can have him go with another adult to some of the larger resort arcades.

For my 9 1/2 year old one of the highlights of the trip was Disney Quest -- on our last 5 day trip we spent most of 2 days there, and he would have gone back for more.

Could one parent go with him to DQ, while the other takes the girls to BBB and a character meal?

I do believe there is a "Disney's Pirate Adventure" at the GF for around $30 per person, ages 4-10/12? From what I understand, they look for treasure and also get lunch. I believe you'd call disney dining to make a ressie for it.

There may even be something similar to this offered at YC called "Albatross Treasure Cruise".

Our DS has never done any of these because he's too old, and if he could get away with it, I think he'd lie about his age just to do a pirate adventure :rotfl:

Disney Quest Disney Quest Disney Quest!!!!!!!!!!!! My 10 year old loves it and you can easily spend 3 or 4 hours at a time in there!!

I just asked my DS10 what he would prefer to do.
His answer "Disney Quest and the Lego Store". :thumbsup2

Another idea if none of the above are appealing (although not sure this can compete with Disney Quest and the Lego store!). They are offering a new archery experience at Ft. Wilderness for kids age 6 and up. It's a 90 minute activity where CMs lead them in learning to shoot a compound bow and then they have various targets to practice shooting. I believe it's offered Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons.

Definitely a BOY type of activity! :thumbsup2
