Something Nice For My Family

Hi Gang

Ok, it's confirmed we're now going May 29th to June 9th to the Dolphin!!! Yay!!! So... I would really like to do something nice for my DW, DS5 and DD1 the minute we arrive or sometime during our stay. Does anyone have any advice/ideas? I'd like to send them a little extra Disney magic when we get there.

You could have Mickey baskets made and delivered to your room...I think "Feralpeg" is a lady on here (search for her posts) that does this...and if you do a search for "Guest of Honor" Badges...you could have them made and put in the basket....it's a hard plastic name badge that looks very similar to the ones the Cast Members wear and I loved the reaction on my children's faces when characters (speaking ones) would say their name and act like they knew them....you can also arrange for your children to get their hair cut at the barbershop on Main Street across from the Post Office...we started our day there like that and the kids got lots of fun glitter and special treatment. They do something special for first haircuts...in case your 1 year old is having it. We usually like to start our first night at Chef Mickey's with the characters...it really starts the trip out right without having to waste a park ticket.

I once remember going onto the swandolphin.com website and seeing info. about special baskets you could have delivered to the room. You picked our favorite resort to stay! I could write a novel on why we love it there so much! Have a wonderful time!
