Something New to Collect-Disney Italian Charms

O.K., so has anyone seen these Italian charm bracelets? The ones that you pick out the charms you want and they replace a link of the bracelet? We have a kiosk in our mall that sells these, the brand name of the bracelet is Zoppini, I think, and they have now gotten in the Disney charms. I was unimpressed with the bracelets until I saw the Disney charms. I came home and searched the internet, using "Italian charms" as my search and found the bracelets and quite a few charms, but no Disney ones. By the way, the Disney charms at the kiosk had a Disney imprint on the back. The fellow who owns the booth keeps insisting that our Disney store is going to sell them. Well, Disney Store has heard nothing about them. So, I am wondering, has anyone seen these in any Disney store of any kind at all? I have heard that these bracelets are the new "rage," and I am interested to know if these are appearing in other parts of the country?

I just got back from Italy and these WERE very popular. We were on a ship and I didn't hear of them until it was too late.

I did see someone who had a Mickey but she got it from a small shop in Italy...I guess that doesn't help.

I'm interested in buying the bracelet anyway and use some of the other charms...did you say you knew where to buy the blank ones???

I have a friend in California who is selling them.
From what her Charm rep told her, Disneyland is supposed to carry them eventually. He didn't mention anything about the Disney Stores. My friend said she is selling them so fast soon she will be sold out of her initial order. I went with her to see them before she got them in and they are wonderful. She also has the charm bracelets with the blank links ©Disney.

Connie, I just searched "Italian Charms" and several things showed up. The names I have seen most are Zoppini, Nominations and Boxer. One site said if you bought one charm you got the bracelet free. They way it works is each time you add a charm, you take out a blank link. Once your bracelet is filled up, you have enough links to start on another bracelet. What a gimmick, huh???

Thought this might be a great Christmas present, as it would be something you could add to for someone later on.

I just found them on e-Bay, too. They were listed as one of the links when I searched the internet.

I saw these a few weeks ago at a toy store near where I get shoes/hair cuts for my kids. If you're still looking, I'll be taking my daughter out that way Friday to get new shoes. I can try to pick one up for you, though I don't remember how much they ran

I can see Sorcerer Mickey on the box with Yello Plutos, Green Goofys, Pink Minnies, Orange Donalds and Blue Mickeys.

Now I learned last night that Disney is also making the blank bracelets with their authenticity stamp on the back, so doesn't it seem that that they would be selling them in a Disney Store of some type, maybe WDW or DL or local Disney Stores? Still trying to find out where they might be carrying these. Retail price is a little high, I want a discount of some type to get into these.
