Just changed a GF Cafe ADR for Tokyo Dining. First time eating there in all of our visits. Convince me I made a good choice. Cast of characters is myself, DH, DD14 and DD16. All of us enjoy Asian food but don't feel the need to be entertained by the Teppan show and dislike the large table community seating. Just looking for good (or good by Disney standards) ;) Japanese food.

We were at EPCOT a few weeks ago with my brother and sil and ate there for lunch. This is NOT a place DH and I would have picked but SIL thought it would be good. They had a lunch special (appetizer, entree and ice cream dessert) for $22 and we each got that; different entrees. Must admit we all enjoyed it and are glad we stopped by.

Thanks, younger daughter loves Asian food, 'Ohana used to be an every time event until it became too difficult to book. We always have to eat Nine Dragons, and I have Kona booked as well. We enjoy Japanese food, but can't stand the Teppan experience where you don't get to eat your food together, have to eat it as it's placed on your plate unless you want it cold.

I really like Tokyo Dining. I think the tempura there is really good.

we went there this summer with our 2 daughters 14 and 16 and all really enjoyed it, the sushi was wonderful and fresh.

good to hear, one daughter may get a bento box, I'm leaning toward either the tempura or katsu, hubby will probably get the grill selection

Dbf had the Fuji Bento Box and he LOVED every part about it, except the steak. But he did like the steak, it was tasty, but he loved the sushi.

I had the Shobuya, tempura chicken and shrimp. I loved everything except for the chicken. It was tasty, but I liked the rest a bit more. Maybe our expectations were too high?

My review and pics are on my TR in my signature.
