Since my children are boy girl twins, they have been aware that boys and girls have different "parts." (They went through a long period of wanting to run around naked). We've always tried to tell them the correct names for the boy/girl parts, but the topic hasn't come up in a while.

Today DD is talking about wanting to be a boy (she also wants to be a princess, actress, astronaut, and kitten). She says (completely serious), "I know I can't be a boy because I don't have a p***s. I have something made in China." :rotfl2:

OMG! That is too cute!!

Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

The hardest part of the whole thing was that I couldn't laugh out loud. She is a very intense little girl and is constantly coming out with these kinds of things. She would have flipped if I laughed though. I wish I could freeze time and keep them 5 forever.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time!!! Thanks for sharing!!! :sunny:

When my oldest son was around 5, he came to me for "the talk." Since he was so young, I figured I'd start with the basics. He knew what his "part" was called, so I asked him if he knew was a girl's part was called. After he looked at the floor, and the ceiling, and out the window, he finally said "I think it's called a "China." So I told him he was very close, then told him what the real name was. He got his look of absolute relief on his face, which really confused me. When I asked him what was up, he said he was so glad that he had it wrong. Apparently he had overheard me on the phone earlier discussing my good china with my mother, wanting to know when I could get my good china from her, that I was tired of my every day china, basically just having a china rant! He was apparently upset that his grandmother was keeping my "good china" and that I was not happy with my "old, everyday china." :rotfl:
