I've been trying to figure out the best place to post this and figured this was it! :) I hope Pete & Kevin, in particular, are able to read this.

I am tossing around another Disney trip (what else is new!) and asked my brother if he has ever used Dreams for booking trips. I thought he had, but wanted to double-check. I've always used a different TA to book my trips.

So, yesterday I was chatting w/my bro about the recent bit of drama on the boards and he said he thought I should post his email reply about Dreams on the site so that you guys could see yet another person who thinks highly of you. He is also a member here, well before I joined up, and I hope he stops by to say hello to you too.

Here is the short email we exchanged with each other. I hope that it brings a bit of a smile to your faces!!! Hugs to all, Lisa

Forwarded with permission from my bro with prior TA name removed:

three or four times. I love them! They usually come in a little cheaper than XXXX and the attention they pay to you prior to going is better then what I got with XXXX. Usually I call both of them and go with the one that's cheaper. So far its been dreams each time.

They do the upgrade as you go thing also. Meaning if the price goes down they automatically lower it for you.

One guy I had actually called my cell to confirm a change in dinner reservations after booking. I had wanted 9:00pm at Flying fish but had to take 6:30. One of his clients dropped his 9:00pm on the same day so he called me to see if I wanted it before he just canceled. And they don't take tips! Beat that with a stick why don't ya!

I'm a devoted fan of Dreams as well. My TA is very proactive in making my arrangements. She doesn't just wait for me to send her my flight info. She reminds me that I need to send it so she can set up D.M.E. We're still 6 months away and she still makes the time to get my trip details together.:thumbsup2

The one time I have used them, I was completely satisfied. Of course I would expect no less from this great group of guys & gals with an obviously high level of integrity and passion for all things Disney.

Customer service at it's best, especially now when needed most.:thumbsup2

I have used them 3 times and recommended them on another site. Very professional and very helpful. If it wasn't for the fact that I booked our next trip with Disney UK last year to get the free dining I would definately have used them again for this trip.

There have been a few travel companies I have used that could learn alot about customer services from Dreams.

Our first time was in December 07.
We currantly have 3 more trips booked.
2 of those trips are with DU.
The one for this December is not as yet, but that will change when they annouce the dates for disapolluza. Sorry if I mis-spelled that word.
We live in Canada and I have in the past booked one trip through a local travel agency, and one trip that we did on our own.
The trip we booked on our own was cheaper than the one from the local travel agency. However I find booking through DU to be about the same as we would pay doing it ourselves or cheaper. It's a wonderful thing to have someone else look after all the little things for you.
My husband and I recommend DU to everyone we meet when on vacation as well as our friends. :thumbsup2

OK so just to make little sis (mamato3princesses) stop calling me a lurker I will pop in and say al the above is true. I have nothing but good things to say about Dreams and the agents who have helped me. Great service!

Thanks for all of the compliments.

It's certainly nice to hear.

And to Dabelsteen....WELCOME!!!!!!

I am so happy you read the note, Kevin. It is always nice to hear compliments and good things rather negativity.

Oh, and my bro is right--I'll be calling upon Dreams for my next trip!!! :goodvibes

Thanks to all for the kind word about Dreams.

I know all of our agents work vey hard to try to make their client's vacations the best they can be. Sometimes it's more difficult than others to work with the 'Disney machine' but they certainly try their best.

You should see how excited they get when they can save a client money - the emails fly back and forth with totals and stories of savings.

What a great team we have!!

John

Totally OT of course, but John brought it up...so excuse the temporary hijack...

Has anyone else seen the Sham-Wow guy's new mini-informercial for the nut chopper thingy? The guy cracks me up! I actually sat through the whole thing! Of course my wife already has the gold-plated Pampered Chef version...

Sorry folks, can't stomach the sham-wow guy. Just a pail imitation of the great Ron Popiel and his world changing Ronco products!

Ron is truly awesome. Who else could sell you a juicer and a dehydrator. Not so sure about the hair in the spray can though. :lmao:

:rotfl::rotfl2: My son and I love the Sham-wow guy. Our two most used lines around the house are, "You know the Germans make the best stuff." and "You're gonna love my nuts!" (he actually says this from the newer nut chopper one)

--Back on topic, I think of all the time spent planning Disney vacations and stalking CM's to try to score that discount code--I kick myself for not using Dreams. It's not going to happen anymore. I'm the local Disney "expert." Honestly, I used to help plan trips 4-5 times a year for a variety of people (this doesn't count hundreds of questions answered for others). Anymore, I simply say "go to Dreams--they'll do everything for you." Then I just give suggestions on the meals and such. Pete and John have set up a wonderful business that I look forward to using in the years to come.

I give them out to everyone who asks me about WDW, and since I go 2 times a year, everyone comes to me LOL. I think DU is awesome too :thumbsup2

This is my first time using Dreams but they have been great. I even referred two of my friends to my TA and they are both extremely statisfied and will continue to use them in the future!

OMG I just irrigated my nose with coffee. Now I have to watch and see him say this.:rotfl:

First, the shamWow guy can throw out any word as long as it fills in time in his spot. He actually uses the word "bikini" in the same ad.

Back on topic as well, I have never used a TA before and worried about being a number and having my travel plans in hands of someone other than us( can you say control freak?) Well, I have never had such prompt service from any company. Tracy responds our emails with lightning speed and knows her stuff. I don't know where she finds the time but she has even responded to a bunch of questions by first time cruisers on the podcast forum. on a scale of 1-10 I give them a 15. It is rare in this day and age to see a company caring about anything but their bottom line. Dreams Unlimited has made a fan out of me. Keep up the good work.......:thumbsup2
