A simple algebraic equation, that I am a little unsure how to set up:
My (natural) gas commmodity charge WAS 7.8. It is NOW 12.5. How can I figure out the percentage increase? Do I take the difference and divide it by the original number (4.7 divided by 7.8) and get 60.26 %?
If so, WOWEEE!!! I did not realize that our rates had gone up THAT much!!!
