We are going to DL for the gazillonth (sp?) time and would love to do something different while there. We are going to be there May 25-28. Any suggestions:confused3

have you done any of the tours? We have done walk in walts footsteps and we all loved it. I think the segway tour would be fun but my girls aren't quite old enough yet. I just purchased our tickets to see Wicked while we are at DLR in June!

You can find info on here and other places online and make your own hidden mickey scavenger hunt, then compete to see who in your party can find the most. Maybe even have a prize (like a mickey pin or something).

I got my first AP in January and have been around 8 times since then. I only take day trips, but I've managed to go on at least 1 ride that's new to me every time I've gone, between DL and DCA.

I think there is just so much to see and do there that this board and the Unofficial Guide to DL have been so helpful to me to make my experiences different every time. :goodvibes

And I still haven't seen the Aladdin show, the Billys, Fantasmic!, fireworks, been on the Matterhorn or Nemo, or any of the rides with height requirements over 35".

Have you been through all of 3 of the DL hotels? Maybe take a stroll through them and have dinner at one of the places there where you haven't been before.

We "discovered" a great little spot to grab a bite to eat and watch the crowd go by. It is by the lockers, almost directly across from the Blue Ribbon Bakery. There are a group of tables and chairs and an ice cream shop I never knew was there until I saw it on a show about an Imagineer who was getting a window added on Main St. So I went searching for the window (and Ice Cream Shop) on our last trip.

It was nice to sit there with our corn dogs and watch the Main Street crowd go by. It is quieter and relaxing. Every now and then you hear little noises from the "shops" that are around you (a piano teacher, dentist etc ...). Actually, I did know that spot was there, I saw it as I rushed past to hurry down Main St. to where ever it was I was going, but I never stopped to really enjoy it.

You could also do a treasure hunt. Someone posted a request for one not too long ago and there were lots of great ideas. You could print those out and make a game of it. I thought about doing it too.

I told DH that I want to spend one entire day of our Anniversary trip doing the stuff we don't normally do, or haven't done in a long time. Like hanging out in Animation Studio at DCA, seeing the Muppets, riding the Story Boats or Casey Jr.

.

The ice cream shop by the lockers is not always (or even often) open. But it is great when you find it open, especially if the line at Gibson Girl is especially long.
