is it the dis or me?

i have been trying off and on since about 3 today to read and post here on the thread.

i can not for the life of me to get the thread to open thru my email notifications.

i came in the back door by the UO forum direct.
even then, a lengthy wait to post.

rose, i'll try again to post the links.
i had them on another page and i know if i go to it, i will be knocked out of the thread again.

todd, so glad you are back.
if anyone is giving you trouble, let me know.
i can hurt them.
and i will take bubba along with me as he is the karate expert.

i'll just talk the person to death..............

well, have been trying to post this message for the last 15 minutes.
i'm stubborn enough to hang in there and not close it out before it goes to post.

even if it runs into the American Idol time.................that's how stubborn i can be.

well AI is over and i am still trying to get this to post.

Quick drive by cause this crazy criedt card is killin me cause trying to plan our trip for july and so far all it let me get was 2 plane tickets and called they told me since the airline was charging the tickets 1 at a time that the card thinks someone may have stole the card and trying to run up charges and I told them why didn't it do that last year:confused3 :headache:

st lawrence, whenever i need to make a purchase for plane tickets, i always call my credit card company first to tell them my plans.
that way i don't get tied up in the red tape of making those charges.

so many times i have had to go thru security clearance when i have charged train tickets, plane tickets, or anything over seas.

Ummm... my cows are beef cattle, not dairy.

They're the "What's for dinner?" kind. :rolleyes1

You just couldn't see me stomping my feet, but I was.

You're not a nut job, you're my people!

Trust me! You can bet the farm on it.

 You better use that "calculator" and make those ressies....don't forget, make more than "one" per night.... :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

Well I was going to make 3 a night but I guess I could just do 2.

;)

I have too. Mikey has seen my 28 day plan and that is what he wants to do. That would be 11 days longer than we have ever done it before. We'll just have to see if there is any way to pull it off. If not this year then it will happen next year. I think this one will probably be 21 or 22 days total. :woohoo: Love my DVC!!!!!

You're welcome. Wish I had been able to tell him on his day.

Thankfully our little store here almost always has milk on sale and that is what I buy. Today the 2% went on sale for $2.79 a gallon and will be through next Tuesday. I will be buying plenty of it up.

::yes::

Lots of money in the ads. And only about a week and a half of real work a month.

i pay $3.07 for a half gallon of 2%....

 & :lmao: ..... killer beagle image

i thought you were the designated numbers homie.....

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed nicely made up and everything neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands.

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with you and Mom.
I've been finding real passion with Joan and she is so nice. I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, and her tight motorcycle clothes and because she is so much older than I am.

But it's not only the passion, Dad, she is pregnant. Joan says that we are going to be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood, enough for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Joan has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it and trading it with the other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, We will pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Joan can get better; she sure deserves it !

Don't worry Dad, I am 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your son,
Chad

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true.I'm over at Tom's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse thiings in life than the report card that is in my desk drawer. I love you!
Call when it is safe for me to come home.

Hello all Just wanted to say HI .

Bubbasmom anytime you want to go to SFGADV in NJ just ask . I am like a pro at that place. We almost live there in the spring and summer months.

I am going to search :surfweb: for sweet 16 stuff for my daughter now so I will be up for awhile but just want to say good night if I don't make it back here . This is becoming a job in its self .

Anyone think making or having shirts made for a sweet 16 at IOA/USF is crazy? I wanted to make shirts for us during our trip and wear them on her actual birthday . Any thoughts :confused3 ???

Starbucks in the morning  Can't wait Does anyone know if there is a Starbuck annoymous ???:lmao: I really think I need it .

I filed my taxes too soon. I CAN deduct my student loan payments and can get MORE $$$ back.

D'oh!

mary, if you do something eye catching with a tee shirt or cute-sy type of hat at the parks, you might reap the benefits from the tm.

not all are thoughtful but there are quite a few that will do something for your sweet 16 trip.

you would need to call the hotel in advance for anything special to be done.
if you are staying club level, then you should call the concierge there for help.

if not staying club, call them anyway and ask what can they do for you.
to have a cake made does cost money, but there might be some other perks.

i received free breakfast for son and myself when we celebrated his high school graduation at hrh/uo. it was a nice gesture the front desk set up for us.

i think it was barb that did something that caught the eye of employees at universal or city walk. i'm thinking sometime last year it happened.

being blonde and all, i might have the wrong person but thought it was barb that posted on her excitement for the bd event.

i'll be back later to see what green lights are still on.

hoping mother fletcher stays on the job in the morning.

we need a weight report from wendy and fletcher..............hint hint...

do an amended filing.

want me to ask mr mac what to do?
he's smart, he knows those type of things.

did you ever get the package from dhl?
No word on what's going on with DHL yet. But the guy's name that was on the ticket (remember, there was no tracking number for some odd reason) is out of town for a week. WTH.

As for the filing, I'll amend after I get back from TX. I had to amend last year, but this year it will be more $$ in my pocket, not less. :woohoo:

i've stayed club level quite a few times at hrh.
in fact, this coming fall will be my 18th stay there.

let me look for a name and number to give you for concierge.
email is a hit or miss.
you need to direct all emails to carlton hudson the general manager at hrh.

green lights out homies.

came back to tuck you all into bed now.

hey marcie, only 2 more work days this week to go.........

darkie, one more week and it's denver for you again, eh.......

Good Morning Fletcher!

I have been reading all of your posts this week. But the DIS is SLOW SLOW SLOW and I would get frustrated and just quit and watch TV. I thought part might be due to a slow internet connection.

HOTEL REVIEW: The Holiday Inn is actually very nice. Good breakfast. Also the rooms are big (for just me) and bathroom is nice size. The best thing is I can't believe how smart I am in the mornings!;)

Janet - Audit Alert: Your nanner in your signature is cut off. It must be how we (others) have our monitor settings. Your siggie is cut off on the work laptop I'm using this week; but Nanner is alive and well on the home computer. Thus the old saying, It's not you, it's me!

Tricia - Sorry about all the medical expenses. Very few of our clients get to use the medical deduction for taxes. I do a quick calculation and tell them how much the amount has to be, so they don't spend a bunch of time looking for receipts they will never get to deduct. I guess the bright side is since you had to endure and PAY them, you at least get to deduct them.

-Jennifer

Today is Thursday - only one more day and get to be home Friday night.:cool1: (and then get to work Saturday!)

Parenting Story for Marci: (by the way, you are not unreasonable)
When DS was about 10-11, he came home from school on Friday wanting to go to a movie. At this time, we were not comfortable with dropping son at movies and then picking him up later. A parent (either us or friends) always stayed with the boys in the theater (just now in the same row). And the movie was a PG-13. Now I'm not a prude, and he did see PG-13 movies at that time. However, this was one those "teenage sex comedies". I went on a website about family movie ratings, and read some comments that fortified my position by not letting him see this. I told him, he could go to the movies tonight, that I would take him (and stay), but he could not see THAT movie. popcorn::

Well, that was not good enough. He cried, he would be the only one not going. Everyone else was going! Boo Hoo! :guilty: :sad1: :sad1: We told him the theatre would not let the kids in to see PG-13 if no one was 13 and no parent was present. :rolleyes1 (I don't know if they actually do this or not, but it made him think.)

Anyway, we argued and cried for about 45 minutes. And then the phone calls start coming in. Friend #1 is not allowed to go. Friend #2 is not allowed to go. Basically, no one was allowed to go either!!!:confused3

DS finally straightened up.

Moral of the story is "STICK TO YOUR GUNS".

And as I always say, did your parents let you do everything you wanted??

That would be a "NO" for me.

:) :) Jennifer:) :)

Have a nice day homies!
