Hey Todd - glad to hear you guys are getting some much needed rain. Was watching the Phillies game yesterday and wherever they were it was WINDY Brandenburg(?)

Dh made it home safe and sound....kids tackled him, little bud says "there, now our family is all back together again", and we all hung together and watched Villanova beat Pitt......Holy Cow, that was a game

today is laundry, clean out the boy's room and watching more NCAA basketball, I guess. Is there a race on today? If so, we will flip to that too.

Since having company after work till 10pm last nite, lots of things to do today Food shopping, laundry, etc..... sigh....

Afternoon. Watched "The Midnight Meat Train" last night. It was good, a little too gorey but not untastefuly done. There's been this horribly depressing stray dog walking around our block the past couple of days. It was mangey and so skinny. It looked like it hasn't eaten in days. There was a small piece of rope around its neck too. We felt so bad, we gave it some food we had in our fridge and called animal control. Poor little thing.

O'hare did not get much snow so you will be safe.

in fact, the temps will rise tomorrow and take away this yuck here.

I've known people who do the carrot thing, but I hadn't heard about sweet potatoes doing great things for the soil. They can get HUGE doing that. I LOVE sweet potatoes. DH isn't too fond of them. His dad made him finish a Thanksgiving plate when he was little and the last few bites of sweet potato made him throw up. He hasn';t been a big fan since then.

I wasn't exactly fond of our cold temps today, but OUCH! You should just move here. I'm closer to Universal than Chicago is.

Evening. I got the CD to Shrek the Musical this week, and after istening to it about 5 times, I must say it is highly enjoyable. If only I could get to NYC to see it. Oh well, it'll tour eventually.

Good night. Only a little more than a week till I get a week off from work. But that's also tech week for Sweeney. My first day off we have rehearsal from noon to midnight. Yay.

Good Monday morning everyone, weekend over again and back to work. So tired this morning, Tom had fiddled with the central heating for the clocks changing and it came on 3 or 4 times during the night!!

Thought I was having hot flashes

The room was boiling hot!

He was night shift, and what do I know about the boiler so had to leave it

At least I have a 12.30 finish today
