i must double my efforts to find where the crockpot got stuffed in pantry or we won't have corned beef today. that's what i get for palming off the chore of putting it away last time...it could be anywhere

least i won't be cooking for 16

Heard Janet's son on the radio this morning talking about the new Wheeling Indoor Football league--sounds great--I'm going to try to get to the 1st game--gotta wait for all the schedules.

DD15 only had to play one more girl today for the last varsity spot and twisted her ankle mid game and lost. The other kids said they saw it pop out from the sidelines--I haven't seen it yet--their not back from the courts yet.
She'll be #1 on JV. Grasshopper has learned a valuable lesson in all of this--you cannot be perfect in every sport without some work and dedication at one. Typical overachiever: piano, violin for school and youth symphony, ballet, softball, tennis and straight A's, and boys. Let us all hope that young grasshopper retains this memory.

Personally, nix the boys and life would be good.
