I saw it Saturday night and I have such mixed feelings about it. Did anyone else??? And that ending??? I even stayed for the scene after the credits and I'm still confused !

I agree with you. I had mixed feelings about it also. I could not decide if I liked it or not. I think I did but I am not sure. If that makes any sense. The only thing I can get from the ending after the credits is that there will be another one or maybe that is wishful thinking. I do know for certain that Orlando Bloom had never looked more sexier then he did at the end when he was leaving.

I got the impression they were leaving things open for POTC4 too. While I still think the first one was the best, I at least liked this one better than POTC2.

I think what has me so upset is not knowing the actual truth to - SPOILER AHEAD - highlite to read!:
Will being released from the curse since his true love was awaiting his arrival...the flash of green light indicated that he's now free from his duty aboard the FD. There is supposedly some written documentary that the writers of the film said the curse is lifted since Elizabeth was waiting for him. I can't find it anywhere and I'm dying to know. I guess his heart will just magically go back into his chest?? THIS IS KILLING ME!!!!!

Okay, so now I am wondering if we missed something? We sat throught probably about 90% of the credits, everyone else had left and they were cleaning around us so we figured there was nothing else to see. What's the deal?

SPOILER AGAIN....HIGHLITE TO READ!!

After ALL the credits it showed Elizabeth and about a 10 year old boy standing on a hillside..then the green light flash happened and Will and the Flying Dutchman appeard...his love had waited for him and the curse was over...Will would be with his son and wife now!! It was great!!
