I've seen a few things posted on here about a website called skyauction. I went to the website and the deals seem way too good to be true. Is there something that I'm missing? Is there someone out there that has used this service and been pleased? Is the minimum bid what the selling price will be (considering no one outbids you) plus the $195 charge? If someone could help me out here I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!!

I was looking at it also, it does seem to good to be true so any info would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance!

The prices on Skyauction are real. Many people here have had great experiences with Skyauction. Essentially, Skyauction is filling rooms at timeshare properties that would otherwise go empty. I won one auction for Vegas but they were unable to accomodate my dates and I was given a complete refund. I would not hesitate to use them in the future :flower:

Yep! I have used them twice now and have had a great experience both times.

Last year i bid on an auction and got Summer Bay for a week at $50 bid,$195 fee and the $15 document delivery fee $260 total!

This year i have bid and one a week for May 2006 at Orbit one for $255 total !

hth!

I have also won a skyauction for Oct. at Orbit One 7days $231.00, is there any way that I can confirm my ressies with them, I have recieved a guest certificate and paper work from Orbit One but it does not have my name only a number??

:cool1: :cool1: Skyauction is awesome! I won a week at Hiltonhead two years ago and was worried it would be awful but when we checked in the reservationist said it was their most luxurious condo on site! It was amazing two bedrooms with gorgeous furniture, a master bathroom I have only seen on house tours of homes over a million dollars a wonderful kitchen and dining room. We had a large patio with beautiful patio furniture overlooking a wooded stream where we ate breakfast watching the egrets and ducks with huge lovely trees. The whole week - 7 nites - cost us our $150 bid plus a $150 service fee (the taxes for the week would have been more than that if we had rented it a regular rates!) :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Last year I used it for our vacation to Cabo san Lucas - same kind of deal, but we stayed at the most beautiful resort I have ever imagined. We paid about 25% of what it would have cost us by using Orbitz or Expedia - I checked! Love it love it. Just be careful if you use if for airline tickets - I find they are more expensive than other sites when you add up fees - and you don't get a choice about travel times.
