Hello,

I am 19 years old and from July 23-30 I will be going on my own Disney trip with my grilfriend, her mom, and her two siblings (age 3 & 10). I read the post about Cinderella's Royal Table character breakfast and I did not understand one word of it. There were so many people talking in code, such as: Ps, crt, pm, etc. It was truly hard to follow.

I would like to know how to go about getting a reservation. Is it as difficult as it seems? How is the breakfast designed? Does one eat with Cinderella or is she just in the room?

I appreciate any advice given to me. I really want to make this vacation special for the people I am going with. They have never been on any vacation. Nothing is greater than eating at the castle.

Also, does anyone know of any other great locations for character dinning. Thank You very much everyone.

It IS confusing at first, I found that by reading regularly, you get to know the "code".
CRT is Cindy's Royal Table, PS is priority seating, CM is cast member....you'll get it; be patient.

The meal at the castle is very special and unlike any other place on Park. I would recommend it at least once.
Rule of thumb at character meals is that the characters spend time at each table for pix and autographs; they will never actually eat. Besides CRT, there are princesses at EPCOT Norway. For Mickey and Minnie and friends, there are other meals at Chef Mickey's, Hollywood and Vine in MGM, etc.
You can get on the Disney website and sort out via dining for character meals and each will tell you who is scheduled to be there (subject to change).
These change over the years; there used to be an awesome Aladdin breakfast where Big Blue House is now in MGM; not sure where that group of characters ends up now.

To get priority seating, call WDW DINING and set up your times. There is a 30-90 day advance on most eateries, so you can doublecheck when you call.

Lastly, don't worry that you know everything your first time. We've been going for over 10 years and still learn something new every trip!

Welcome to the Dis Bizwiz:earsboy: Sounds like you have some good ideas for a great trip with your friends.

On the home page for the board there is a code board that tell you all the codes is for on the board. That will help know what all the codes is.

i could be wrong, but i think the number is 407 WDW DINE

other great places for character dining are the garden grill in epcot, chef mickey in the contemporary resort, and they also have a great princess character breakfast at the norweigan restaurant in epcot...i HIGHLY recommend it if the two siblings are girls...im 17 and LOVED it!!

have a great trip, and if you have any more questions feel free to ask!! ;) :teeth:

If you really want the Cinderella Breakfast you MUST begin to call at 6:59 am 90 days before the day you want the reservation. And don't forget the time difference (if there is one)

Good Luck!

Anne

I highly recommend you do at least one character breakfast or dinner. They are more expensive but so much fun. My kids love Pooh so we did Crystal Palace for breakfast. It was really good!

I am guessing July is somewhat crowded so if you want to do sit downs make sure you make PS (Priority Seatings). There are some good counter service restaurants also. Stick around these boards, and you'll probably read reviews of every type of restaurant! I also recommend www.allearsnet.com for menus and a good source of information about everything! Have a great time!
