Someone on Diet eating at 'Ohana

A friend of mine is visiting WDW and I suggested 'Ohana - she had the surgery done where they cut down her stomach so she cannot eat as much. She could never eat enough at 'Ohana to justify paying full price. What would she be able to order there so her family can enjoy the buffet?

Ohana's not actually a buffet... The waiters come around and serve you what you want from their skewers, as long as you want it.

I've gone to Ohana and just slowly enjoyed bits of whatever I wanted the most. The grilled shrimp is probably my favorite.

Someone on a diet won't usually be going into restaurants with a mindset of "eating their money's worth." That's likely what got many of us to the point we needed to diet in the first place.

I would advise your friend to go, have just what she really WANTS/NEEDS to eat, and to enjoy the atmosphere.
