Someone explain waterpark tickets to me.

I thought i had read some place (but then again, it could just be wishful thinking) that if you buy a one day pass to a waterpark and use it to get into say BB for example, that you could "hop" with that same pass to the other waterpark, as long as it is in the same day.

Could it be that i am just mis-remembering the "waterpark tickets are good for either BB or TL" rule or does such a thing truely exist?
