to Target with 2 gift cards inside! DD#2 was looking at wallets and found one for sale with a $25 Target card and a card for some free tanning. I am assuming someone got the wallet as a gift and returned it without checking inside! The name "Hannah" was on one card envelope. DD#2 turned it into customer service and I wonder if Hannah will ever figure out what happened!

I bet Hannah had the gift receipt and we all know that is all that is important. Sure glad she got her 8 bucks back and lost 25.:rotfl2:

Wow - what a great daughter you have!:thumbsup2

Did she leave her name and phone number with customer service in the event that if no one claimed the gift cards within 30 days it would then become the property of your DD?

I have learned that with gifts from my Mom that you have to check EVERYTHING...cause she does stuff like that!

:lmao: Reminds me of the episode of Everyone Loves Raymond, when his parents return the Inscribed Toaster for a coffee maker!:happytv:

That reminds me of a wedding gift we got. DH's uncle gave us t-shirts and bath confetti. DH opened this gift (one of the ones we did after the wedding with just our close families, so this guy wasn't there) and read the card, which apparently said something about the gift being in the confetti. He didn't think anything of it. His family was thinking the uncle didn't like us because DH's brother had gotten married a few months earlier and had gotten a check.

So...We get home that night and are getting ready for our honeymoon (didn't leave until the next day) and I decide to smell the bath confetti. I found a check rolled up in there! Too funny!
