Someday: the Sequel! A Dec 2013 PTR

This just brought tears to my eyes...what a sweet, wonderful and beautiful daughter you have.
Thanks! I think she is pretty amazing. Don't get me wrong, she can be a piece of work sometimes. I often worry that Disney won't show her best side. She'll be so excited and want to soak in EVERYTHING... and most likely WANT EVERYTHING! :rotfl2:

So excited for the reveal!!! I cannot wait to hear how it goes! It's so awesome that the pizza guy is helping out!
I will be sure to post a picture of the pizza. The owner of the pizza place is a pretty awesome man. He is constantly doing things for the community and just over all the kind of person you want to know. I should also tell you all that I went to High school with his sister so there are some "ties" there. Her and I were both in bandfront together so we knew the family before he bought the pizza shop.

What? No pictures of the Snow White
I'm just now working on getting 2 pictures into photobucket to post for you... please stay tuned! The pictures aren't of the Girl Scout party, but from the Trick or Treat train last Friday night.

I know you are an amazing sewer so I will tell you that I did not make the dresses. Jon's mom made the dresses. Heck, if the kids get a seam that comes loose I tell them to get the duck tape! :rotfl2:

MY Mother in law would have told them to use a stapler! At least the tape is less painful! LOL!

Nini asked so you should blame her for having to suffer through more mommy brags and pictures of my two kiddos!! :lmao:

Brenda was supposed to be a zebra for Halloween. We purchased the costume 3 1/2 weeks ago from Zulily.. and we are still waiting. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ZULILY AGAIN... even if it is free! We have no idea if the costume will even arrive in time for Halloween AND it is non-returnable! I am livid about things. So, Brenda has been wearing her Snow White Costume that Jon's mom made her for our 2010 Disney trip. It is a beautiful piece!

Gavin went as Mario. He is so into Mario and the Mario DS games right now that there was nothing else he would chose to be. I do find it funny that the costume comes with an inflatable belly. Gavin REFUSES to wear it. He said he had a puffy belly long enough... My sweet boy still comes up with things that makes me a little sad to remember.

Enjoy these pictures!

My first year as a Girl Scout leader and Brenda's first year as a Daisy, I was known for stapling the badges on till I got time to sew them on... now I found this great stuff called Badge Magic that is a double sided adhesive that you use... so that is how all of Brenda's badges go on! :rotfl2:

Adorable! That's crappy about the Zebra costume not getting there in time! I will cross my fingers it gets there for Halloween! I've never used Zullily but I get their emails all the time.

After this episode with Zulily, I won't be back! There is no way that it should take almost 4 weeks at this point to get a Halloween costume.

I think since all of you have been loyal readers that I need to post another day of plans... unless you would like to hear me complain more about Zulily! :rotfl2:

Our next day we are going to my second favorite park... second only to MK! We are headed off to DHS!!! Now, I have to tell you, I LOVE DHS at Christmas time. I am not 100% sure how I would feel about it at other times of the year. It's the lights that suck me in... and keep me there well after park closing! :cool1:

On this particular day, we have no dining plans. We are just going to hit quick serve. It's going to be a much more laid back day. Heck, we might even sleep in a little this day!! We have 3 Fastpasses planned but the first one is not even until 11:40-12:40 and that is Toy Story Mania. We all loved this ride on our last trip. Last trip we did get to ride it twice on each of our DHS days. Since then we have moved up in the world and got a Wii! :lmao: One of the very first games that we bought for our Wii was this game. The kids have so much fun playing it. It's one of those times I love to watch them play as they giggle. This will probably always be my favorite ride in DHS!

A few hours later we have Fastpasses for something Jon is super excited about ::yes:: STAR TOURS! When we were there in 2010 it was closed! :scared1: I had not told Jon it was there and wanted to surprise him last trip... the surprise was on me when they had it closed for refurbishment. Although, there must have been something special going on because those white plastic guys were outside and Jon got an awesome picture with one. (Yes, I am not a Star Wars fan and I do not know their names. To me there is the white plastic people, the Black Plastic head man, the short robot and the golden robot and "That boy"... can't wait to see them all... :rotfl: ) I will ride this each day that we have FP for... It's the least I could do for my amazing hubby.

We will then mill around for a bit again... Our last set of FP is for Fantasmic! We missed this show last trip. I wasn't sure how the kids would react and the one night we had planned on going, we couldn't pull ourselves away from the Osborne Lights! I know already that the kiddos are going to want those new light up ears... I can see it in my crystal ball... so we should take the chance to use them whenever we can! :lmao: Just getting our $25 worth!!!

Of course, no night would be complete without the Osborne Lights. This is part of the reason I am thinking we should drive to this park... I have no idea how long Fantasmic is but I really really need to make sure I see the lights while we are there... I just can't go back to the hotel till I have seen each of the songs for the dancing lights. I know that they let the lights run past closing.. not sure how much past closing but I just want to sit and soak it all in. I do know that Star Tours is in the general area of the lights... I just don't know what time the lights start... any ideas?? I really wish it would be close to the time of our FP for Star Tours... would give us a little time to sit, drink hot chocolate and enjoy the lights BEFORE Fantasmic. I know park closes at 8 that night.

After that it will be back to the room. Perhaps we could meet up with our good friends and chat for a short bit over CARROT CAKE... but I haven't checked their plans for that day. No biggie if they are not able to since we have MANY other plans with them!

So the question for my amazing readers is... what time do Osborne Lights start??? :hyper:

Wonderful plans for Day 3 (can't wait until you get to the next couple of days when I am there though :lmao::lmao::lmao:).

Osborne Lights, if my memory serves me correctly, start at dusk. We walked over there, got in line for Santa Goofy and waited for the lights to start. They started before Goofy came, we got our picture with him, and then walked down the streets for the lights.

The Osborne Lights AND TSM and TOT are the ONLY reasons I like the Studios.

I think it is very sweet that you will ride Star Tours for your hubby. I can do it once, but then I'm done.

The Osborne lights stay on for an hour after the park closes. The Osborne lights give me my two favorite things....Christmas Lights and Disney!

They come on...well shoot I can't find the link from last year...but I think the start is 6 pm. I know sunset is at 5:30 that week.

With everyone back to following along, it makes me more anxious to get more days posted... who knows you may see day number #4 tonight or tomorrow!!! As I recall... that is your arrival day.. hmmmm...

The Osborne lights are really tops on my list. Jon says worse case we can take a taxi back to the resort. Not sure how much that would be to pop but honestly, I think Jon likes that he never has to drive when we are there... after 17 hours one way, who can blame him? :rotfl:

I am up for Wife of the year, you know?!? :rotfl2: After Start Tours I am a shoe in... especially considering I know so much about it!

Shoot! If they come on at 6:00 we will be headed to Fantasmic when they come on. I guess we will have to hit them when we get done. I am really regreting no hoppers this time. Last time we only used them 1 time and it was such a waste of money.
I love the Osborne lights. Maybe because my last name is Osborne

You should get tons of dixie dust while you are at Disney with that last name!

I love the Osborne lights too!! I'm hoping that I can swing a holiday trip in the next few years, it's been too long since I have seen the holiday decor and your PTR (and later your TR) will make me want to even worse!!

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but inexplicably, my DS is... he is 5 and has only recently seen a few of the movies. No idea where he got his Star Wars love but I know we will be using a FP for that as well!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I had to revive Bill after I read this part to him. He says he can't understand how we are friends with you because you haven't seen any Star Wars movies which means there is a possibility that Gavin might not have seen one either :sad2:. I think he might be a bit young for it, but you know guys.

A quick tutorial (you better study Bill is going to quiz you):

White plastic people = Stormtroopers

Black plastic head man = Darth Vader

short robot = R2D2

golden robot = C3PO

"that boy" = Luke Skywalker

He says you have a homework assignment, you NEED to watch Star Wars 4 A New Hope (the first 3 prequels are blah) before we meet up with you. This is required or I can't get on the plane.

If the "good friends" are us, we will be in Epcot all day ending with Illuminations so we probably won't see you this day :sad1:. We will see you the day after, and the day after, and OH the day after that ;).

Don't even worry about how long you hang around DHS to look at the Osborne Lights, Disney leaves no guest stranded, they will get a bus to take you back to Pop. Many people linger long after official closing time.

:wave2: Hi, I am back too.

So sorry that your summer was stressful, but glad that your are able to go on your trip!!!

The kids will be thrilled when you finally do the big reveal Sunday. Yay for Mickey pizza.

Hooray for Brenda and her bracelet business. I'd bet that she won't know what to buy first when she gets to WDW.

Kudos to Jon on bringing home the Disney GC for the extra day of tickets.

Looking forward to the rest of the schedule. ::yes::

Truth be known, Jon has tried to have me watch all the Star Wars movies many times. It seems that I make only about 15 minutes before my eyes are shut and I am sound asleep! I guess its just not my cup of tea. :lmao: Tell Bill he'll forgive me over Star Wars because of our shared loved of Beauty and the Beast! JOn plans on having a Star Wars day before we go. Gavin already knows a lot about Star Wars. Currently, he is playing Star Wars LEGO on his DS and telling me all about the Sand Troopers that are attacking him... all I hear is blah, blah, blah! :happytv:

Well Shoot! That is really my punishment for not know the name of the black plastic guy, right? :lmao: I think you need to do a PTR so I know where you are again. Actually, by the time we get back to pop after the lights, I am sure the kids (Even the big ones) will be worn out. :rotfl:

Welcome back!! So glad to see you came back to my little PTR! :worship:

The kids will be thrilled... if I don't spill the beans beforehand! :hyper: It is so hard to keep the secret... Only a few more days. Jon and I did work on our plan today while the kids were in school.

Jon is a good guy and I think I will keep him...especially when he sees things my way. :lmao:

Brenda's bracelet business is really taking off. I am so proud of her. When she asks for something in the store I have been telling her that if she wants it, she needs to take it out of her Black Friday money. About 95% of the time, she skips it. She is really working hard on saving her money. I just hope Disney isn't a disappointment. :lmao: It is so cute though, each day she comes home she asks if there are anymore orders from my Disney friends or from my Facebook friends. It's so cute. Then after homework she gets right to them! I'm such a proud mom!

A Gavin bragging moment...

Each day of the school year someone brings something to share. It has to be related to the "topic" of that round. This round is a letter box. The child picks a letter and then fills a box with items that begin with that letter. Gavin picked the letter M because he wanted to take in a Mickey Mouse and a Minnie Mouse! :lmao: He really is my child!!! :rotfl2: Although, He really wanted to take in his Pal Mickey that he got this summer from our dear friends Tracy and Bill. I had to talk him out of that, but Brenda loaned him a Mickey Mouse bracelet charm and a Minnie Mouse charm. He came up with lots of other M items, including Mini-wheats to share for a snack. He is one smart cookie!!!

mailed the check for my bracelets. Tell Brenda if she gets Tinkerbell charms I will want one of those too.
