* It was a real shame to see the 'lush green park' that had been advertised upon the taking down of the maliboomer. The so-called park had a few new trees, and benches of people sitting there in the NEW smoking area, so now if you are cutting through from the Goofy's Sky School over to Paradise Pier to get to California Screamin' or TSMM, you and your family will have to cut through all of the smoking which is very nauseating.
*Hungry Bear - Onion rings have changed, and they are very greasy and sickening - you get three now, and they are cut almost up to 1 inch thick. The batter smells very yeasty, like a beer batter, and our son commented that is smelled very bad. The buns are whole wheat now for their burgers, and it was kind of dry as a result.
*Regular pizza at Village Haus remained the same, tastes very good. The new pizzas with the flatbread looked very scantily topped. They were out of the chocolate cupcakes, and I overhead an employee say that they get them from a bakery, sounded like it was one from in town. (?) Not sure.
*Carnation Cafe loaded baked potato cheese soup was still awesome! It is always nice to see Oscar, I am sure when he is there he visits every table.
*Chicken at the Plaza Inn was delicious, as always!
*World of Color - If you are in a blue section if you wait only 10-15 min. before the show starts you will notice that they open up a second blue section. You will then be in a section that is located just beside preferred dining section (across the walkway going down to the water was the preferred dining close on our right hand side.) We were in the very back, I could see well enough (5' 5") but our daughter, Gr. 3, couldn't see that much from her viewpoint. What we liked about it though was being able to quickly leave the parks. It was a nice show, we still like the fireworks much better.
*The amount of gum on the walls of the Indiana Jones ride is disgusting. I wish people would stop doing that. To what merit is there in that?
*Aladdin is still wonderful each time we see it. If you have to sit in the balcony, be warned is is a very steep hike up all of those steps.
*Mimi's restaurant has always been nice, we had a nice dinner one night; another night when we used the washroom, we saw little flies, like fruit flies, at the areas where there is water (by toilet and sink.) It freaked me out, I hadn't been expected to see things fly up when I washed my hands. All 4 of us in the family noted this, and hadn't gone back after that. Does anyone know what those flies were, are they fruit flies? They were small like that.
