Ok I know this isn't the right place for this BUT I promised myself I would not venture to the none DVC boards anymore. Because when they find out your DVc they attack. Or is it just me. Anyway I made reservations today for DDP and wanted some suggestions. So far I have Le cellier steak house, Capemay, nine dragons, crystal palace(lunch) Biergarden (lunch) Any suggestions at Downtown Disney for dinner. Any other suggestion also welcome I have a few spots to fill yet. Thank you.

If you weren't on the dining plan, I'd say go to House of Blues for dinner. They have GREAT ribs and DVC members get a 20% discount.

We've eaten at Raglan Road and really enjoyed it. It was a bit packed inside but it was also raining pretty hard outside so a lot of people ventured in. Great meal and good environment! I think they have a band some nights too.

Hummm...only looking at DTD? We are trying T-Rex and Wolfgang Puck Cafe for the first time in May....hoping for good meals. We had a great lunch at Cap'N Jack's on one of our previous trips! I have read good things about Earl of Sandwich.

Our most fav. restaurant EVER though is Boma at AKL tho.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I would recommend giving it a try if you don't come up with anything else!

Everyone raves about Earl of Sandwich....I thought it was just ok. Wolfgang Pucks Express is sooooo much better!:thumbsup2

I've never experience being attacked because I'm DVC on any other DIS board. The CB can get pretty rough but not about DVC so much as every other topic in the known universe. That's the only place on the DIS I stay away from. The Restaurant board is friendly. They won't bring up DVC if you're asking about Disney Dining.

The DVC Boards of course is the best place to discuss all things DVC. The DIS is an opinionated place, even here on the DVC board. My advice is don't engage in a bunch of hot back and forth unless you are enjoying it. If a discussion gets to crazy for you just disengage. You have your opinions, others have their opinions and we generally aren't going to change each others minds.:wizard:

Also the longer you are here, the more you will learn what topics are hot button issues for the DIS and you may decide to just post this guy.popcorn::
You may just sneak in and lurk, or you may avoid those topics all together.:thumbsup2

I agree about Wolfgang Puck Express. That was BY FAR the best counter service meal we ate on the DDP and probably ranked higher than some of the table service meals. I HIGHLY recommend it...get the creme brulee...mmmmmm.:thumbsup2

WP express is a great value with the DDP. We found Raglan Rd too noisy and the food not very good. My pick though would be WP cafe for Dinner.

Wolfgang Puck Express is awesome and only counts a a counter service meal. The food is great!!! If I ever considered the counter service meal plan I would come there every night for dinner.

We eat here for dinner after doing a Table Service for lunch in a park, or on a day we use a table service at a character breakfast.

I enjoy the Wolfgang Puck table service also, but I'd rather eat in Teppan Edo in Japan, Germany Buffet or Boma as a table service.

I haven't ever done the dining plan (my kids are considered adults, but don't eat like them... so it's not worth the $), but we really enjoyed Fulton's Crabhouse, but I'm not sure if they are on the dining plan.

It is not on the DDP, neither is Portobello YC. The last list I saw included only WP, Capt Jack's, Raglan Road and Planet Hollywood for sit down at teh DD area.

I don't know if this one is on the plan, but Spoodles on the Boardwalk was excellent. (At least the three different entrees our group had were great.)

Have you tried the Turf Club ar Saratoga Springs? We ate there rwice on our most recent trip. Limited menu, but yummy food and great service.

this place gets some good reviews - Raglan Road

have to go visit T-rex!!!
Entertainment starts around 8pm so make reservations, they have traditional Irish music and dance, we have always enjoyed it, Food is very good but not great, but then again Ireland is not known for it's Great Food.
