Hey everyone,

Thought I'd share a few tidbits about our visit to Soarin' over Memorial Day weekend.

1. This thing is REALLY popular, standby times of up to two hours, and Fastpasses are GONE by 1 p.m. for the whole day. Go in the a.m. and get a Fastpass. 'Nuff said.

2. There was a cast member talking to another guest within our earshot about how all the cm's who had applied to work this new attraction, the first time they rode it they were asked to wait the maximum wait time they expected for opening day(s) crowds -- 3 hours. The cm said that he felt it was totally worth it. It's amazing how Disney magic operates.

3. Take your shoes off if you want! I stowed my sneakers in the bins under the seat, and to have my bare feet out in the "wind" was awesome.

4. After the ride, there was spontaneous applause from many of the guests.

CONGRATULATIONS, IMAGINEERS! Another fantastic proprietary ride system, you guys rock our World. :lovestruc

We rode it 3 times on our recent trip and it was awesome. Can't wait until our December trip to ride again. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

We were able to walk right on this 2 times in California. I'm really looking forward to doing it again on our upcoming trip--just hope we don't have to wait 3 hours!!!!!!!

Do the FP return times go all the way to park closing? We're hoping to run over to get a Soarin FP mid-day before going to MGM and then returning to Epcot for the evening and (hopefully) having an FP return time we can use then.

Totally agree with Buttercup, we just loved Soarin last week and rode 6 times.
bjakmom - yes, Fastpasses go up till near closing time, and when we were there for EMH, they opened the Fastpass machines up again at 9pm (looooonnngggg lines waiting) so that there are Fastpasses available for that 3 Magic hours... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

My crew loved this also...totaly awesome!!! :Pinkbounc

Only got to ride it once because we had to leave early. :guilty:

Was a little worried about motion sickness, absolutley NONE :cloud9:
