Thanks for taking the time to post the photos, VanHouten! What was your impression of the resort overall? And what kind of room did you stay in?

:sunny:

Thanks so much for posting these really great shots. I can't believe how close some of the rooms are to Disney Quest. I think I'd rather just swim over than wait for the boat!

Great photos!

One question though - Each building has four floors. Are there stairs or elevators to get luggage, etc. from floor one to floor four?

OKW you need to use stairs (with exception of a couple of the newer buildings). Hauling luggage and sleepy children up three flights of stairs is exhausting!

Thanks
Rox

I plan on doing a more in-depth report soon, but my impressions of the resport were very good. We stayed in a first-floor one-bedroom that faced DTD. It was our first DVC trip and we loved the room. It was very nicely decorated and the extra room was welcome.

Some things were not ready, like the path to DTD and the playground. But I'm really looking forward to the resort when it is complete. It is going to be huge and waslking will be an issue for some people.

The resort, even in it's unfinished state impressed us. When completed, it will be beautiful and the location is a definite plus.

As I mentioned, I'll have more to say soon.

Yes, there are elevators. When you walk through the main archway, the elevators are on your right. They are the first thing you encounter as you enter the structure so it will be very convenient.

Thanks so much for the photos! They are great, this is just what I need to hold me over until August!

Beautiful pictures! Thanks so much for sharing! Some of the shots reminded me of the BoardWalk.

That is a beautifulf resort! I can't wait to stay there. My wife and I are hoping it doesn't sell out before we're in a position to buy - two years.

Just had to say thanks and show my counter to see how much longer until my trip.:D

First, thank you for the wonderful photos, I really enjoyed them.

Question about your second photo, is this the quiet pool that is open now? It looks to me like this pool is in the shape of a Mickey head icon. Am I mistaken or have I just not noticed this in other photos I have seen?

Again, thanks for taking the time to post your photos. This resort looks really incredible to me.

The Mickey head is just from the angle of the shot. If I remember correctly, the "ears" are square.

By the way, we found about 5 or 6 hidden Mickeys that I'll share soon.

I thought the same thing, especially the villas with the enclosed balconies.
Great photos, thanks for sharing!
