We are back from a quick trip to the World and I just wanted to share our opinions on a couple of the restaurants we tried while my DH and I were there.
WPE- tried this place for lunch-my DH had the chicken caesar salad and I had the chicken chinois salad (which is an oriental type salad) Both were excellent-the veggies were crisp and fresh and the portions were large. We will definitely come here again
Lunch at Kona- We had the sticky wings which were terrific- DH had the chicken sandwich which he said was very good and I had the chicken noodle bowl. I found this bland, but not terrible. What we didnt like was the pineapple upsidedown cake we ordered-it was on the dry side. We also ordered tropical cocktails-these were delish!! We love Kona and we'll be back-I'll just order something different next time.
Boatwright's- EXCELLENT! I had the beef tenderloin medallions w/ mac and cheese and asparagus and my DH had the Jambalaya(w/ chicken and sausage and shrimp) which was big hit with him. We did not do dessert, there was just no more room in our bellies!
Thats it- it was a short trip as I said- and those 3 were the only places that really stood out. All other meals were CS.
