We went to Kona Cafe for the first time on Saturday morning (the 10th). This was our first time there. We didn't have a PS and we were seated within 10 or 15 minutes which I thought was great. We were seated and it took approx. 10 minutes for the server to get to our table. We ordered and it was approx. another 10 minutes before he came back with our drinks. My husband ordered french toast which he really enjoyed. I got the eggs, bacon and potatos. The potatos were cold, the bacon was barely cooked and I like it crispy and the eggs were really runny. The waiter was nowhere in sight and by this point we just wanted to leave because our 2 year old was getting anxious to get moving. I figure we just got a bad server and I'm willing to give it another try, I was just a bit disappointed on my first visit.
We had Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary 3 or 4 times for breakfast. It was great each time. I had the Magic Kingdom Express which was eggs, bacon, homefries and I substituted the biscuit for white toast. The breakfast was served hot and fast each time. The service was friendly and fast as well. We also ate dinner twice at the Concourse Steakhouse which was delicious. We had steak and prime rib. The meat was cooked perfectly and the ceasar salads and bread were delicious!
We went to Chef Mickey's on Mother's Day. This is usually one of my family's favorite meals but not on this day. We were seated within 10 minutes of our PS time which was great! Minnie came to our table pretty quickly but then it took a long time for the rest of the characters to make their way over. The food was not good at all and usually we really enjoy it. It wasn't hot, bacon was kind of gross and the scrambled eggs were very watery.
We went to the Hoop Dee Doo on May 3 and the food was delicous! There was bread, salad, fried chicken, ribs, beans and corn. It was all hot, yummy and all you can eat.
We ate at Trails End Buffet a couple of times for dinner which was very good. They had salad, chicken, turkey, pizza, lasagna, potatos and a bunch of stuff I'm forgetting right now.
We had a PS for Garden Grille in Epcot for lunch at 12:50. We arrived 15 minutes prior to that time and we were told that they just filled the restaurant so it would be about 45 minutes before we could be seated
so we left because our 2 year old would never have made the wait.
The food at Princess Storybook was very good. There was fresh fruit and some pasteries on the table when we arrived at the table. The eggs, bacon, sausage and potatos were very good. The princesses were great too.
We had CRT breakfast on May 3. We felt a bit rushed there and the food wasn't hot. But, the setting was great and our daugther enjoyed it.
We had to cancel PS for dinner at 1900 Park Fare and breakfast at O'hana's because we were too tired and sun burnt to go! I was determined to try LTT, O'hana's and Garden Grille but we didn't make it, maybe next time.
