Getting ready to make FP+ selections soon, but need to know a few things:

1) I've read that i can't select a FP+ for two hours after the start of an ADR. Is it that the system actually won't let me book a FP+ time then, or it will just give me a warning that the FP+ time i've selected conflicts with the ADR time. I have some lunch reservations i'm debating and would like to keep until i figure out the baby's nap schedule, but if it will prevent me from securing FP+ i'll ditch them.

2)What time of the day can i begin making FP+ selections? Is it at 6am like with dining ADRs, or is it midnight on my 60 day mark?

3) Rider swap - I've found the rides that have it listed on the disney website, but are there others that will do it as well? Like dark scary ones? I'm thinking pirates of the carribean and Buzz lightyear space ranger spin specifically. Has anyone done rider swap on these rides? The baby will be tall enough to ride, but may not tolerate them well and was thinking these might be better to do while he naps and we can ride with DS6 but would need to use rider swap. Then baby does not do great with loud sudden noises and movement.

4) How wet will we really get on Splash Mountain? DS6 is doing Pirate League and i was going to do Splash before he does pirate league so the makeup wouldn't wash off, but i would really prefer to do Splash in the afternoon while baby naps using rider swap, seems like a good use of the babys nap time. Will DS6 get soaked and the makeup get ruined or not really? I realize this answer may vary, but will i be cursing myself if we do Splash after the pirate makeover? This would make our day flow better.

Okay, i think those are my main questions before selecting FP+. Thank you in advance to those who respond. Looking forward to our first Disney trip!!!!

1) The system will not allow a booking (without doing a somewhat convoluted workaround.)
2) 12:01AM (Midnight) on the 60th day before your check-in.
3) It can be hit-or-miss, depending on the CM's who happen to be working when you're there.
4) Seldom "very" wet. It's luck-of-the-draw much of the time.
