Just wanted to give our opinions about where we ate on our recent trip (Oct 9-18). My husband and 3 sons (ages 9, 5 turning 6, and 4) spent a total of 8 nights, my mom, dad and aunt (all late-60's) joined us for 5.

Big River Grill - Better than we expected, I had chicken nachos, DH had some kind of burger with BBQ sauce and bacon on it. He talked about how good it was all week. My nachos were huge and really good. The only strange thing was that after I started eating it, I found lettuce kind of buried inside the nachos. It was soggy under all that cheese so I picked it off. Not sure what the kids had, probably some combo of mac/chez, chicken nuggets and pizza. They didn't complain. We waited almost an hour but it was nice watching the entertainers on the Boardwalk while we waited. We had small Mickey head cakes from the Boardwalk Bakery for dessert. They were cute and really yummy.

Crystal Palace breakfast- Loved being on Main Street before park opening. Waited 5-10 minutes to be called. The characters were pretty good and the food was average breakfast food. There were no great standouts, and the only thing I thought was yucky was the breakfast lasagna. I remember liking the dinner food here alot, so we may go back to that next time.

Cinderella's Royal Table lunch - Just OK, the pic with Cindy was great. She was really sweet to all my boys, especially my youngest who walks with a walker. We waited waaaay too long for our table, DH wanted to leave, but I was NOT letting that happen. He and I had the Major Domo pie. It was good, but lukewarm like it had been sitting under a heatlamp for awhile. The boys had the flattest chicken nuggets I have ever seen. Really, they looked horrible. You would think for that $$ you could get some decent nuggets. Frozen Tyson ones would be a step up. The princesses Aurora and Snow White spent some time chatting with the boys, but Belle and Jasmine posed for the requisite picture and bolted. We did not feel rushed eating at all. I think this was probably because our ressie was for 2:15, so there was the lunch/dinner gap in our favor. With boys, we would not do this again. It was a lovely setting and nice to get out of the hustle and bustle for awhile but since we've done it, I don't think anyone will care if we skip it in the future. The food is NOT worth the $$.

Wolfgang Puck Express- Terrific as usual, we ate here twice and had an assortment of sandwiches, salads and the rotisserie chicken. This is a must-do every trip as we have never had a bad meal here.

To be continued....
