Hi,
Im the disney fanatic in our house, and Im planning our vacation to disneyland paris in july.
It is not our first trip, but I still have some questions
.
-what is walts like? I think I might convince my family to eat there

-is the cinderella restaurant alright for picky eaters?

-do any restaurants serve mexican food? I think I remember one, but saw it closed in december last year.

-where do ouad and fantillusion start? I want us to sit near the start so we can get away before the crowds.

-is there a nice place to eat in the studios?

We loved it. It's particularly nice if you can get a window table

is the cinderella restaurant alright for picky eaters?

Probably not anymore. It's no longer a buffet, but a character meal with a very limited menu - see here. At the price you would have to be sure you like the food on offer!

Was that Fuente del Oro? It underwent a rehab and is open again now. There is also La Cantina at the Hotel Santa Fe. I'm afraid I don't know what either of them is like. ETA there is a review about La Cantina here

where do ouad and fantillusion start?

OUAD starts from Fantasyland - next to Small World. Fantillusion starts from Main Street - next to the Main Street Transportation Building

:)

Walt's is an excellent choice.

The food at Fuente Del Oro is excellent for fast food (I was born and raised in Southern California and I'm happy there). Try it out.

For Fantillusion, be aware that there are show stops, and they are poor at the front of the parade. Best place is in front of the castle where there are 3 show stops, including a great view of Maleficent and Jafar - my two favorite floats.

thanks a lot!
Ill have to see about walts, Im guessing we will have to book earlier?

We have eaten at Walts, nice atmosphere and good service. Menu was quite unimaginative really and no decent choices for vegetarians. However, kids food was excellent and god sized portions and the views over main street for the Fantillusion parade were excellent. Try making a reservation for about 45 minutes before the parade. That way, you will probably all get a great view after your main course.

thank you for the tip scald!
we are there for four nights so we will be sure to try to do that at least one night.
is it expensive at walts?

Take a look here : http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/links.html

Be sure to get a reservation 45 till 1 hour before the parade.
The guests stay seated even after they finish there meal to see the parade so you have to wait until your table will be ready after the parade.

It is pricey enough...but not the worst I've ever paid. Think a meal for 2 adults and 2 kids came to about 140 Euros, but that included drinks, so not bad.

We've always enjoyed Fuente Del Oro as one of the better fast food outlets. They do a great platter that includes jalapeno peppers, wings and chicken drumsticks that we like to share :)
