Some questions and Opinion

Ok Today my 3 yr old came to me and ask if we could go see Pooh agian at disney (highlight of our trip in march Well hubby and i have talked and we need your opinion . Should we go if we do not have the money to get or do everything we want while we are there? Also have any of you guys gone pregnant? I am 7 weeks right now but we would go in dec so i would between 20-22 weeks . Would you go if you were that far along? any opinion would be great .

Hey! I went when I was 7 months pregnant and although I couldn't ride any thrill rides, I really enjoyed myself! While my husband and daughter were riding Splash Mountain, I spent time browsing through the shops and taking lots of pictures and talking to the Cast Members I discovered a new Disney perspective during that trip

As far as the money concerns... not being able to buy stuff or eat in expensive restaurants wouldn't deter me from going. Stay at the All Stars and grab a park hopper pass. You will have a great time regardless!

I went at 4 mos. and had a great time. Do you ever really have enough money to do everything you'd like at Disney? I mean I can concoct some pretty great and high-ticket travel scenarios. I'd much rather take multiple trips where I had to budget carefully than one big lavish trip.

People tend to forget that for every ride at Disney there are at least 2 shows that aren't rides. Some of my Fav's at MK are the Tiki Room,Country Bears Jam.,C of Progress. So,there is plenty to see while others are riding thrill rides!

Heck yes I would go! I was 21 weeks along with my second when we took our first trip to WDW. It was May so it was hot and humid and I was miserable. Now we always go in December. The weather will be comfortable for you, since the parks close early you won't push yourself, and the Christmas decorations will all be up so there will be plenty to do and see. With a young child you probably don;t go on the speedy rough rides too much anyway, and the rides your daughter likes will be fine for you to ride for the most part! Stay at one of the All Stars and take an extra day off in the middle somewhere to relax to deduct cost of your hoppers. Eat counter service and bring along snacks from home. We never have loads of money to spend, but we always have a great time. Sure, there are things I want to do that I have never done because of money, but there will hopefully be plenty of time in the future for that. I think it's worth it just to see the looks of delight of my children's faces esp since I know that when they get older they probably won't even want to go to WDW with mom and dad (although I can't bear the thought). One word of advice though: Don't sit in the very back seat of the bus, the engine gets very hot back there and can raise your body temp to an unhealthy level for the baby. Congrats!

If you have the money to go, just not to buy a lot of stuff...GO! However, if it will strap you, you could wait until after the baby and go next year. Your daughter will really love it at 4 or 5. We noticed a huge different in ours from 3 and 4. She really was into it more.

To be honest, don't wait till after the baby. Trust me! We put my son off cause his little sister was born and it took us 7 add'l years to get back there!

More diapers...
More formula....
More daycare....

You get the idea!

We could have shaved off $ on this trip (one, by not staying 11 nights total in Orlando!!!) but we wanted to. Last time we stayed at Courtyard DTD and it cost about $40 after the gift certificates I had from rewards programs. So you can do whatever you set your mind to.

Ebay is my next big adventure......
