Some questions about HDD

We just did the 8:30 show. They no longer provide buses back to the resorts. If MK is open they will have buses back to MK then catch a bus to your resort. If not you have to take a bus to Disney Springs then a resort bus.

This stinks!

1) That is ONLY if MK is open late.
. . . seemed like many people preferred to return for MK late hours
. . . the buses were not crowded and it was a waste of manpower and fuel
2) If MK closes at 9:00pm, as usual, the bus schedule does not change.

I'm hoping you guys can help me, as seasoned HDD goers.
I have a large reservation for June - 20 adults, 1 child (3), and 1 infant. One of the couples has now said they'd like to bring their daughter (9). I just rang Disney Dining to add her on, but they're saying I need to drop to category 2. She's only small, and we're all family, so how pissed would HDD get if we showed up on the night and asked for an extra chair? I will obviously pay for her there and then. (I'll also keep trying the dining line in case availability show up).

We thought so too when we first found out but it really wasn't too bad and didn't take very long to return to Beach Club
